I would like to get into the habit of praying.

(for context) **I was raised extremely religious for most of my childhood. Is no longer involved with Christianity; now interested in spirituality and the craft**

I hear over and over again how powerful prayer is; great for affirmation, manifestation, protection, reciting gratitude, wishing well on loved ones etc.

My primary problem as an ex “christain” is that I no longer feel as if I’m directly talking to paternal higher power. So, prayers feel empty and unheard 🥲

Im surprised of how society for the longest times deemed witches as “jobless” “satanic” “mentally ill” whatever.

Being a successful witch requires much knowledge, patience, wisdom, creativity, and diligence. IMO witches are one of many groups that are authentically intelligent: observing affects of moon cycles, psychology, channeling/controlling energy, ancient cultures, law of assumption…SOME MUCH UNDERSTANDING OF THINGS MOST PPL DONT EVEN CARE ABT!!
