Fingertips trail along ridged horns in an act of soothing: they refuse to settle, though she can feel them relax beneath calming touch.

GHERREN , Like most people -- could pick up on a few context clues that may save his life. This land is untraveled by him --- foreign in every way apart from it housing the one person whom the dwarf would return from death to see. Without her being here, the dwarf would have tried anyway to escape or battle these odd yet unique creatures but, right now? All he wished was to know so much more about them. Where they slept, how their kin were born -- what they ate and he would express this through curious eyes as he watched them take in his scent and stood very still.
