First, call your senators and tell them if they vote yes on this BS that they're going to lose their job.

Second, find out how your rep voted and if they voted yet, remember to vote them the fuck out of office.

Third, if you are a cis woman who has taken your spouse's name, and you don't have one, GO GET YOUR PASSPORT. Get the process started now because I guarantee you passport processing is about to slow to a crawl.

If you are a TRANS person, be very very very very careful about trying to get a passport right now. I'm hearing of people presenting the necessary documentation and having the documents taken away and not returned, leaving you completely without documentation.

2018/2019 - pretransition, starting to shave and literal day 1 of HRT (oof rough baby trans attempts)

2020-2022 - Dramatic weight shifts (both directions), kinda figuring some things out

2023 to current - sustained weight loss, comfort in who I am, no more boy moding ever. Depression basically vanquished.

Hi everyone!!!!!

So as of today I've been on HRT for three years!!! It's honestly crazy to think that it's been that long already, it feels like no time has passed at all!

In spite of how difficult transitioning can be, I wouldn't give up being my true self for anything.

I love taking selfies now! Who would have figured the person who avoided every mirror would love the way they look!?

The world is not the kindest, but I did the kindest thing for myself and let myself be me.

I'm so glad that I did <3

Remember, everyone, we still have a system in place and the Constitution still exists. We are not in a full dictatorship, yet. We can not give in to despair at every single thing this new administration does, because those checks still exist.

And until they don't - and that's a big if - we must keep our heads about us. Do not panic. Do not fall into apathy. Do not do anything irreversible.

The system will not save us, but it can protect us from the worst possible outcome for now.
