my daily habit of continuing on

its so awesome that everything good that happens to me has to be followed by immense suffering of some kind every single time

me, a legal adult: when i grow up,

some of you just cannot accept that “i just don’t like it” is a complete reason to not engage with media or a facet of media

i have so many hobbies and interests but each day the four horsemen (instant gratification, shortened attention span, procrastination, exhaustion) grab me by the throat and shake me until i collapse in my comfy bed

oh my god and it never ends.

i believe you can always get back to yourself. you can always soften into being again. no matter how long you might be stuck in a pattern of unhappiness, of being jaded, of feeling guarded from the world in some way. there is always a path back. give yourself a chance to find it.
