AVILLION

Romans 3:22-25 NLT 22 We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are.

When we celebrate the Lord’s Supper, we remember what Jesus did for us on the cross. We’re saved, not because of how many verses we’ve read or because we’ve been a good person. We are accepted by God as His children only through the sacrifice of Jesus. As we repent and put our faith in Him, accepting His atonement for our sins, we have forgiveness of sins, eternal life, and access to our heavenly Father.

The practice of communion, which the Lord left for the church, also enables every Christian to serve notice to Satan, the accuser, that there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, for we have been redeemed not with perishable things, such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of the Lamb.

“I have looked upon My people, because their cry has come to Me.”—1 Samuel 9:16

The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, not only sees, but He also hears. In Exodus 3: 7, God said that He has both seen the affliction of His children and heard their cry. God hears both audible and inaudible words. Psalm 94: 9 says, “He that planted the ear, shall He not hear? He that formed the eye, shall He not see?”

“And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.”

God is ready to hear your cry. Call upon Him today!

Psalm 34 : 6 says He is ready to hear the cry of the poor. Are you in need or in danger? Cry to Jesus and He will hear you.

Relationships are the bedrock of life. In a very real sense, everything rises and falls on relationship. When I was young, my family was not rich. We did not get expensive gifts for birthdays or Christmas. But we had a lot of family time, family outings and so on. My mother gave us healthy food and made sure our stomachs were full. I secretly wished I was rich like some of my cousins, who had better things than we did. But at the time, I did not understand relationships were all that mattered. Nowadays, many parents want to spend more time by themselves, either on their phones or at work. They compensate by giving expensive gifts to their children. We must never allow things to take the place of relationships. Be in good relationship with people God has blessed us with, our families, our parents, our colleagues and those around us and ultimately life is about relationship with God and being reconciled to Him through His Son Jesus.

Genesis 1:28

And God blessed them...

And he said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Remove this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.

We were all once like broken pieces of pottery. Sin broke us. We were of no use to anyone. But Jesus found us, in our pain and brokenness, He picked us up and made us into something beautiful, something useful. He freely went to the cross to die for our sin. He washed us clean with His precious blood and restored us. Jesus was broken, so that we could be built up, that we could be healed, that we could be whole again.

If you feel broken and hurt, Jesus can heal you too. Ask Him to come into your life and situation. He will come to bring you healing. Your scars and your story can become healing testimonies to others. Normally broken pots end up in trash-bins but when placed in the hands of Jesus, they reflect His light, like little lamps placed in dark alleys.

The LORD builds up Jerusalem; He gathers the outcasts of Israel. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
