So I was doing some research on bird stuff and found this amazing a bit of info: female hawks are bigger than males.

So the reason we don’t have any female hawk laguz is that they’re too butch and the devs were too coward to include them, I complained to @invisible-ties. Then we noticed that Janaff, Ulki, and Lotz are all not exactly imposing men by our beorc standards… and then there’s Tibarn.

And that’s how we decided he’s a trans man.

Case in point one - all the known sprites of hawk laguz (all males, scaled kind to the same scale using head size):

and concept art for hawk laguz specimen (safe to assume it’s a male one as well):

For comparison - sexual dimorphism in Sharp Shinned Hawks (male is the smaller one):

Case in point two - hawk laguz stats and growth rates have two varieties in PoR, standard and Tibarn, and Tibarn has greater HP and Str stats/gr (more hints indications that Tibarn has a biology that differs from that of other hawks):

So yeah, since we don’t have any female hawk laguz for the reference, Tibarn is oddly huge and buff for a typical male hawk laguz. Explanation: he was actually a female born hawk who now owns being this huge and strong man/male hawk.
