if you're an american and you can go ACAB even though some police officers are poor minorities but draw the line at condemning the military because some soldiers are poor—you need to ask yourself why violence against non-americans is so much more acceptable to you.

It’s ALSO worth saying that police dogs serve a significant role in worsening police brutality. A dog trained to attack a human will maim them. A cop looses a police dog on someone, and that person is expected to peacefully cooperate while a dog is trying to tear their limbs off. It is very easy for those massive wounds to get infected. It is an absurd amount of violence. And beyond the initial attack, the fact that a “poor sweet innocent doggo” did this is used to excuse that brutality in court. Especially if the victim, panicking in the moment, lashed out at the dog. As this website has demonstrated many times, majority-white juries have more sympathies for injured dogs than the people of color who are most often victims of police brutality. So they’re not just systemic animal abuse, they’re also a tool for increased police brutality and to excuse

There are many exciting and fun ways to undermine the system without waiting for other people to go marching in the streets. Few things encourage the creative mind more than figuring out how to break some rules and get away. 

“But if I do a crime the fascists will arrest or kill me!” - No amount of licking boots will protect you from some random white nationalist who goes on a shooting spree, who may or may not happen to be a police officer. Also the FBI literally faked an entire field of forensic science just to put people they didn’t like behind bars to inflate the prison labour population.  There is no reward without risk, but the nature of climate catastrophe means we are losing more and more every day as the wealthy corporate enterprises literally steal your future health and livelihood from you through their absolute refusal to take responsibility for any “Externalities” they might cause.
