Second contribution to @elsa-fogen's Incompatible Frequencies.
since I cannot comment I need to say this, as a victim of sexual assult I did not like it and that is fine, and my main problem is just the warnings, it did not tell me how graphic it is because sexual assault can mean anything from a slap on the butt, to full on rape and that was so graphic that it gave me a panic attack. ofc you could say "well that's your fault for reading it!" but for this topic YOU HAVE TO PUT WARNINGS THAT TELL PEOPLE EXACTLY WHAT THEY WILL BE SEEING. it is more harmful then helpful to victims because it honestly just feels like that literal rape was just watered down into a warning of "SA". and acting like people don't have the right to hate something that triggered them?? that's just ick. I'm not trying to be malicious or mean about this I just find it upsetting that I am being denied the right to dislike something that triggered me I threw up after seeing it and again maybe its my fault for reading past the warning but in my opinion as a victim "SA" is not a appropriate warning for what happened, at least say it is graphic say ANYTHING to tell people that what they are going to see is very graphic.
Since I can't comment anymore...THERE WERE WARNINGS! IT WAS CUT OFF SO PEOPLE WHO WERE SENSITIVE DIDNT SEE IT! IF YOU DON'T LIKE MY POST JUST SCROLL PAST! Its MY opinion! Don't take this the wrong way as I'm angry, but the reasonable thing is to just scroll past. I used to be a homophobic (I think that was shitty of me now tho) so I would get annoyed by pride art, but I never commented on it rude things like "BOYS MUST DATE GIRLS" and if LGBTQ ever gave me trauma, I wouldn't comment "This is assault and it's hurting us with PTSD". I'm sorry that you have experienced sexual assault, but if Incompatible Frequencies gives you those memories, just don't read it.
I don't read it I stopped after the first one because It literally triggered me so badly I almost vomited but the problem was just the warning was not appropriate for the content, the warning didn't state how graphic it would be and there is a difference between SA, and rape. I have seen other things with the warning SA and it didn't trigger me since it wasn't very very graphic rape. also SA is a very traumatic thing that always needs to have warnings, LGBTQ is not a very traumatic thing it isn't a fair comparison. and a comic with very graphic r*pe is not the same as a comic with LGBTQ representation
Im not a great debater and I was trying to give an example with the LGBTQ thing. It did have warnings, and you took them for granted. Here's a better example (hopefully): I have trauma from nearly drowning multiple times (im a good swimmer) because people keep pushing me underwater. Now, I could have either kept swimming or never touch water again. I kept swimming and ended up saving two lives (my dog and my younger sister). Now, this is my example because you can either debate this forever on warnings, or maybe start a boycott or something to stop SA a rape.
The warning for the one I saw was literally just "tw SA" and again SA could mean anything from forced kissing, slapping somone's butt or full on rape. I am saying that for this topic which IS VERY SENSITIVE you need to put warnings telling people how graphic, it is like having putting "blood warning" and then having a character ripped open and blood everywhere and their organs spilling out and a bunch of gore, would you say that the warning was appropriate? and when something says "SA" I don't expect to see something as graphic (and something without the mature tag as well)
In the master post, there are graphic meters. I can't debate much anymore, both sides have a strong argument. If you want more real answers, take it with @elsa-fogen themself instead of one of her biggest fans.
