25-35 is such a weird fucking age because you’re 100% a bread-and-butter Standard Edition Millennial but the cool teens are like “ok boomer” because you have a Real Job but the actual Boomers at your job are like “I’m not going to listen to a literal fucking child” as they download 16 self-replicating viruses and meanwhile the Gen Xers are telling you to refinance a mortgage for a house you don’t have and you’re sitting there at the Adults Table with the pretty tasty casserole you cooked because you’ve finally figured out how to do that now but everyone is eating the Boomer’s store-bought macaroni instead and admittedly they do sort of taste similar so it probably wasn’t worth all the trouble of cooking from scratch and you’re trying to comfort the freshly-graduated sobbing 22-year-old next to you because she just woke up here and doesn’t know where she is but you have like maybe 5k dollars in a savings account labelled RETIREMENT that grows approx. twelve cents a year and you keep eating dry macaroni while smiling incomprehensibly and periodically blacking out like ??????????

I just watched a movie where two characters very obviously had sex, but instead of showing 5 minutes of kissing, groping, heavy breathing, noises and body parts, they showed the conversation before, and the moments after the act, and let the audience put it together. Why, just why, can’t everyone do it that way?

Do you realize Neji said you can’t break out of what is destined for you and Naruto was like ‘nah fuck destiny’ but the whole child of prophecy/reincarnate of Hashirama/Asura kinda makes his whole story predestined and the hyuga destiny of side members sacrificing themselves for mainbranch memebers also happens with Neji killing himself for Hinata so like Neji was right all along and had every right to be resigned & bitter and you just :)

Has anyone else had the experience when you’re browsing fics and you’re skimming the summary of one of them, and you just think boredly to yourself, “Wow, that sounds terrible. What an awful concept that could in no way ever be executed in a remotely palatable fashion.” And you’re about to move past it, but THEN you catch the author’s username and you go, “Wait, HOLD UP, I know this asshole. Never mind, I take it back, this weird shit is probably actually really good and I’m coming in.” 

It has been my true honor in this life to be the source of that second set of italics a number of times.
