It’s been about two years since I posted here. So, a little update. I’m a third-year college student majoring in Psychology. I plan to go to graduate school and become a licensed counselor/therapist. I’ve matured a lot since starting this blog years ago, but I still LOVE helping people and making people happy. I never really expressed it here, but I’m quite left/progressive politically, and the recent election has HORRIFIED me. I’m worried for my rights and safety, and for those of the people I care about. I was scrolling through Facebook tonight, finding almost nothing but political stuff, and I decided I wanted to spend my time doing something else -- something where I might be making some kind of positive difference...like posting here. To be honest, I sometimes (okay, often) have trouble keeping up personal projects like this, but I’m going to try. I don’t know what I’m going to do with this blog (I might transform it into some kind of psychology/mental health/social justice thing, I dunno), but for now I just want to give people some hope and positivity in these super rough times.
