"Each relic vault along with its key had its own unique security measures, and given the obvious danger Destruction would pose should it ever fall into the wrong hands i took... special precautions" "The vault is not simply a "place" conjured to being, its the reflection of a moment in time, people endlessly replaying that day of death now acting as the final line of defense" "That should anyone seek the relics power, someone of sound judgement would be present to assess there character"
"And if She were ever to obtain the key and breach the vault, she would find a warden fit for the task"

An old idea been ruminating on recently. in principle, the Relics Vaults interior is a looping copy of the last battle of the GreatWar of Remnant,
When someone enters the vault that day begins anew, None conjured by the Vault know thay are reliving that day, nothing you do in there will alter the future, practically your going back in time but without the risk of preventing your birth, you Can interact with those inside and thay Will react to you, so to reach the relic, while guns and grimm roar amidst the chaos of scattered armies seeking each over out in a storm whose sands eagerly cover the dead. you must locate the King of Vale and convince him to give you his sword, the fact he should understand and believe you if told hes part of a magical time shard is a... good 1st step at least, 2nd step is "But are ye worthy knave?" both the idea and drawings are abit old hence why the swords allot simpler then the official designs for the Relic of Destruction, but i like this idea, seems a very Wizard thing to do.
last idea, Verdict was the blades title. Woe to the Cruel, Honor to the Just. Honor to the Merciful, Woe to the Cowered.
