Today's heromix agenda of mine is an old thought I have regarding tomix and hero from a year ago
Where I can't help but think of Tomix's thoughts to the Hero is basically "I've realized that I'm doomed since a long time ago, there is no other choice for me. Nothing awaits me but agony and misfortunes. But meeting you reminds me once more what it meant to be alive and to have people you can trust. In the last remaining time I have I've learnt what it meant to be happy surrounded by those I love."
And at least for Joanne after his death basically going "I love you, I've lost you the moment I realize that I love you, there's no going back. There is no other choice but to move on but your memories I shall cherish. I'd live for you and so that I can smile proudly when we meet again."

"Like Him" by Tyler, The Creator for Joanne with Sepulchure, Warlic, and Jaania
Related to my latest sketches about Valen Pulchure being the Hero's childhood hero, I totally wrote it as something comical because the realization happened during Book 3 for Joanne (during the final arc). But if you think about it more than five minutes this is a fun tragic prompt where you ended up fighting your own childhood hero who participated in the revolution that freed the kingdom you live in from tyranny. At the same time I love the idea that the Hero being similar to each of the Book's main antagonist
With Joanne too, it's also neat that Valen with Alteon and Lynaria freed the Kingdom from Slugwart's reign. Then Joanne with other heroes and fighters fighting against Shadowscythe and Joanne defeating Sepulchure (at a young age too even)
I did a small part of book 1 replay two days ago and I feel so young again, so I sketched out book 1 Joanne when she was still full of whimsical joy and curiosity
Before she was an adventurer, she was a courier. A pretty well known one in Oaklore at least. She is especially one who comes around Oaklore Keep the most and sometimes also helps around the keep for some gold. One of the pactagonal knight was the one recommending her name when she was about to get her adventurer license (at least in my head there's a kind of guild who handles this kind of thing especially for young adventurer/mercenary)
And also a quick sketch about Joanne finding out her childhood hero is her ex-nemesis
