Wannabe Engineer

when I was in high school a comment I got very often was that I should get used to long classes and long exams because that’s what university is like but now with online classes more ppl realized that we can not concentrate on a screen for so long and the thing is maybe it’s not only a screen thing maybe 4 hour long classes are not healthy and maybe we do not learn as good with classes like that I am tired of education being a challenge and something you have to overcome education should be something nice something to enjoy and teaching should be as smooth as possible and not a way to make people stressed and sick just to let the best one survive

university is also just *rereads email wording for twenty minutes* *pdfs* *waits for bus* *lofi beats* *bounces leg* *forgets student card* *forgets laptop charger* *forgets lab coat* *refreshes email* *tupperware* *prints something* *stares at wall for ten minutes before getting out of bed* *makes tea* *waits for appointment* *daydreams on bus* *climbs stairs* *stares at google calendar* *almost gets hit by bike* *recycles*

*forgets the tea made* *forgets that printed thing* *caffeinates until shaky*

Yup. My life.

I love being in college because there are no actual adults around so everyone is just going around bullshitting their way through basic tasks. Like I can be like “I think I got better from my cold because I ate an orange yesterday” and everyone is like “Yeah makes sense” and somebody could just be like “I’m gonna put my pillow in the washing machine to clean it” and everyone’s like “Sounds like a great idea John”

god i hate being alive i just wanna die in a national park under mysterious circumstances
