I got a B in Political science because I was notorious for skipping classes despite there being quizzes every day, oops

Waiting on Dendrology lab to start. One of my favorite classes.

We just walk through the woods and wetlands and the teacher points at a tree and tells us about them.

If you have a chance, some free time and mental capacity, you should look into and learn about not only the fundamental science of climate change but also the current happenings and solutions being put forward.

This is one of the most important issues, if not THE most important issue, of our generation. And we need to be aware of the severity of the problem, and the false solutions presented to us.

Climate change has so many outreaching effects on our lives and the lives of the people and ecosystems across the planet.

We have finally moved on from debating about whether or not climate change is real, as the evidence is overwhelming. Now the conversation is on how to fix it. And believe me, a lot of old companies, especially fossil fuel companies, recognize the threat and have plenty of resources to bamboozle the public and save themselves. Greenwashing. This includes investing in carbon capture. The investment should be in decarbonizing from the start.

I got home from work at 2am but managed to drag myself to my classes early this morning! I did it!!

Up next I need to complete a writing assignment for bio lab, and complete geology homework by tomorrow morning.

I finished my paper with time to spare the other day. And I got back from yesterdays work shift at about 2am this morning, but managed to still make it to my 9am class! Small wins to boost morale.

Here I am, writing a paper that I thought was due next week but is due tomorrow morning. 6-10 pages long and I’ve done this to myself.

I already had all of my resources for this topic. I’m writing about the fundamental ecology involved in the decline of aspen trees, Populus tremuloides, in areas like Colorado. Talking about the trees themselves will be easy because there is a lot written about them, but I need to figure out the fundamental ecological basis for this.
