Synopsis

This story took place shortly before Cartaphilus fell asleep and Chise enrolled in The College. Having received the invitation from The College, Chise and Elias had begun to prepare themselves anxiously. In the midst of that, Spriggan came to visit them while bringing along an eerie horse.

“The ghost hunting troops have started behaving strangely,” he said.

―― Having moved from London, a normal boy named Gabriel was bored out of his mind due to his own circumstances, the separation from his friends, and the unfamiliar land.

At that time he looked out the window, seeking for an escape. There was a purple mist that he saw in a flash. He left the house to pursue it. To the world where the boy shouldn’t normally walk into, his story behind the thick veil in which magi lived began.
