Update
This blog has been mostly dormant, as you've all no doubt noticed; I have been reluctant to list it as flat-out discontinued, since there was always the chance I could return when time (and interest) permitted. Unfortunately I've been a rather busy bee.
I will be updating the status of this project to Indefinite Hiatus. I may occasionally return to test and post submitted recipes. (There is one in the submission box at the moment I will be testing and posting, in fact, for Java Cookies) But I have no timeline for when the project could be moved back to an Active status.
Honestly, I think my first instinct with the battery acid pie is to go for a kind of key lime pie. I'll look for a recipe and mess with ratios and stuff to see what I can get. I'll probably send a submission sometime in the next week or so. :]
Key Lime Pie is an excellent idea! Not sure why I didn't think of that myself.
Okay. I know it was 9 years ago. But a Hushpuppy is a real thing đ
Oh, absolutely! It just so happened that someone submitted a recipe for Slush Puppies instead, so I went with it. But if someone wants to submit a recipe for a real Hushpuppy, I'll gladly post that as well. :)

any idea what church Juice is?
I did not attend church as a kiddo, but it seemed to me Church Juice is probably a cheap punch. There used to be something called Hawaiian Punch that was especially popular and sold in bulk at Costcos. It was high in food colorings and artificial flavorings, the taste of my youth . . .
As such, a recipe for Church Juice would probably be some kind of punch, imo.
I have an idea for an undertale yellow cookbook!
Unfortunately we have no plans to expand this project to fangame territory. However, if you decide to make recipes from that game yourself I will happily reblog them!
have u considered making a zine-style booklet of the undertale cookbook? i'd love to own a little booklet like that irl :-)
Yes, this was an idea I pursued for some time. You can see samples of the eBook pages here and here. I only got as far as completing the Snowdin collection of recipes.
However, the project was very time-consuming and difficult for me to work on solo; it's not likely I will pick it back up again unless somebody is willing to collaborate on it and help out a bunch.
hey bro i really love this concept. so cool. sorry if i missed the post if you did make one, but i saw you mentioned you may make a compiled e-book of the undertale recipes :0 did you ever make a link to one?
Hi there! The original eBook was never completed; the idea was to compile something that had a ton of fun visuals (including all the photos and artwork that was contributed). However, the project proved to be too ambitious for a single person to complete. (Especially since I'm not an artist and have other IRL responsibilities)
That said, we do have a complete cookbook compiled! This version is printer-friendly and lacks the photos and artwork, so it won't destroy your ink cartridges.
Deltarune Teaparty: Hot Chocolate
The best hot chocolate in all of Hometown! Topped with marshmallows in the shape of bunnies.
Recipe by Beetreets
Ingredients:
3 tablespoons Milk Chocolate cocoa powder (I use Cadburyâs hot chocolate powder)
2 cups of your choice of Milk
œ cup of Mini Marshmallows
Homemade Bunny Marshmallows (or ehem. shopbought)
œ tablespoon of Sugar
1 teaspoon of Cinnamon
Canned Whipped Cream
Chocolate Sauce
Colored Sprinkles
Utensils:
Sauce Pan
Ladle/Large Spoon
Teaspoon
Measuring Cups
Mug(s)
Sieve
Directions:
1.) Set your sauce pan on medium heat and add the mini marshmallows and a little bit of milk to help it melt. Let melt until goey. Watch closely and stir often to avoid burning.
2.) Add the remainder of the milk and gradually add in the chocolate powder, bringing the milk to a low simmer and stirring well. Usually about 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder is enough, but you may add more to taste. Continue to watch closely and reduce heat if boiling too vigorously, stirring well to avoid scalding the milk.
3.) Once you're happy with your chocolate-ness level then add one teaspoon of cinnamon, or more if desired.
4.) If your cocoa powder doesn't come with sugar, or it does and you prefer an even sweeter hot cocoa, add in the 1/2 tablespoon of sugar (or more) and stir well. Once dissolved, turn off heat.
5.) Line the inside of your mug with some chocolate sauce (if you really like chocolate!!) and pour the hot chocolate in. The pot will be hot so please be careful and don't spill any!! Stir in a few mini-marshmallows into the hot chocolate if desired for extra marshmallow flavor.
6.) Toppings: Squeeze the whipped cream on top of the hot chocolate in the usual triangular style. Add the colored sprinkles. Grab a small sieve and sieve some cocoa powder on top (or just sprinkle by hand). Finally, add your bunny marshmallows on top.
And Ta-daa!! Enjoy the best hot chocolate ever (if I do say so myself)

Castletown Café Episode 13: Butler Juice (Blue)
Itâs the middle of summer here in the Northern Hemisphere, and hot weather is in full swing. While Iâm grateful my summer in Oregon this year has not been a repeat so far of last yearâs deadly heat wave, Iâm seeing what I experienced last year happening to the people in Europe this year. This isnât just happening in Europe: record temperatures have been scorching northern Africa, the Middle East, and Asia as well. Having experienced such heat for myself, I know how awful and miserable it is, and I hope youâre all staying cool and safe, regardless of where you are in the Northern Hemisphere.Â
Itâs hot here, too, in North America, and Oregonâs in the middle of its own heat wave right now as well, though itâs tame compared to what so many are going through. It may seem tone-deaf to present a recipe and an episode of Castletown CafĂ© when bringing up current events, but, I hope a recipe for a refreshing drink may help cool you down this summer, no matter where you are.
Itâs been over 100 degrees today so I had to try out some Blue Butler Juice from @castletown-cafeâ! Very sweet and refreshing. Be sure to check out the recipe sometime if youâre interested in trying it out for yourselves.
I hope everyone whoâs experiencing summer right now is keeping cool!
Deltarune Teaparty: Butler Juice
A varied, colorful palette for the most discerning of palates!
Recipe by scammy-and-spammy
Ingredients:
A high-density beverage (examples: fruit punch, apple cider, grenadine)
A low-density beverage (examples: sugar-free Sprite/7Up, white or rosé wine)
Ice
Food coloring (if your beverages are not already colorful)
Straw (if desired)
Directions:
ButJuice is just as much a science experiment as it is a recipe! The key is the densities of the various beverages. If you pour a very dense beverage into a glass and then pour a less-dense beverage on top, itâs possible to layer the drinks without them immediately mixing. This can give a very beautiful effect.
Generally, the amount of sugar is what determines how dense a beverage is. If you have a super sugary drink like fruit punch or a sugary bar syrup like grenadine, that is far denser then something like a sugar-free soda or a light wine.
1.) Coldify your glass by filling it with lots of ice cubes. This with help slow down the mixing of layers.
2.) Next, pour your bottom layer and fill about half the glass.
3.) Pour your other beverage into a seperate cup at first. Add the food coloring if needed at this time and blend.
4.) Next, take a large spoon and place it gently into your glass so it covers your bottom layer. Then, very gently and slowly pour the second beverage into your main glass, over the bottom of the spoon. The spoon will help your top layer pour as gently as possible into the glass and minimize mixing.
And thatâs it! If done well, the layers will remain seperate for quite some time, in fact. (As Iâm typing these directions up, the drink I made is STILL very seperated, and itâs been over an hour by now) You can drink your beverage with a straw if youâd like to enjoy the bottom layer first.
This layering effect is popular to use in some cocktails, such as the Rainbow Paradise cocktail or the Tequila Sunrise, but it can be used just as easily for non-alcoholic drinks, too!
Bonus - Butler Tea
If you prefer to Warmify your beverage, you can attempt a colorful drink as well for some cozy Butler Tea! Keep in mind the colorful effect will not be as strong as the cold drinks, and will vanish much more quickly, though.
Simply prepare a hot tea of your choice (Earl Gray is a good option). Add milk or creamer in order to lighten up the color of your beverage. Add any desired extras, such as sweetners or garnish; boba pearls might be nice! Then, simply add a few drops of food coloring into your drink and swirl the beverage very lightly.
Enjoy!

Deltarune Teaparty: Revive Mint Iced Tea
Howdy! Today, I'll be showing ya'll how to make Revive Mint Tea! Using both mint tea and fresh mint gives it an extra-powerful minty kick thatâs sure to revive even the most exhausted SOULs!
Recipe by sapphiretheiii
Ingredients:
3 cups of water
About 10 grams of fresh mint leaves (3 sprigs, each about 16cm long)
About 3 tablespoons mint tea
Ice cubes
A quarter of a cup of lemon juice
(optional) Half a cup of raspberries
(optional) Half a tablespoon of honey
Directions:
1.) Place around 3 tablespoons of mint tea in a tea infusor and set inside a pitcher. Wash the fresh mint leaves and place in pitcher as well.
2.) Boil the 3 cups water, then pour into the pitcher. Steep the tea for around half an hour. Then remove the infusor and the fresh mint leaves.
3.) Add the honey and lemon juice, if desired. Then allow the tea to cool. You can add ice to speed the process up, although keep in mind that it will dilute it a little.
4.) Once the tea has cooled, add some ice to your glass and pour the tea. Garnish with fresh raspberries and a few fresh mint leaves.
Enjoy! Itâs especially refreshing on a hot summer evening.

*blows dust off the blog*
Hi, folks. Itâs been . . . a while. The past several years have seen me falling on some pretty rough times (COVID, money issues, issues with my living situation, other health stuff to deal with, etc etc). Thus my absense.
The good news is, things are starting to stabalize a lot more for me, finally! However, in the meantime, there has been another blog that has taken on the task of making excellent recipes for Deltarune foods and drinks. The blog is @castletown-cafe
As such, it seems as though it would be rather difficult to compete with such a talented blog. đ There are a couple of Deltarune recipes that people have submitted here, so I will definitely be testing, photographing (if needed) & publishing those because they deserve to see the light of day! And I am sure everyone will very much appreciate these submissions. But after that, well, it may be time for me to hang up the tea towel on this project, as it were.
Iâve enjoyed this project so much over the years and itâs been so exciting to test out the creative recipes youâve all come up with, as well as devise some of my own. Itâs also an absolute joy to have been a part of such a fun, welcoming community. And I am super excited to personally start trying out some of the gorgeous recipes from @castletown-cafe because they look amazing! I strongly encourage everyone else to check them out too, and Iâll be reblogging them over time.
So stay tuned for the final few recipes that this blog will publish (Revive Mint Tea, Butler Juice & Butler Tea, and Hot Chocolate). I will also continue to reblog any fun recipes I can find related to the Undertale & Deltarune universe.

Deltarune Teaparty Master Post (Call for Submissions!)
Hello, everyone! Now that this amazing Undertale community has completed a full Undertale Cookbook, it looks like we can expand to Deltarune!Â
Several months back I noticed the food items in Deltarune seemed to fit together perfectly for a teaparty. So this expansion into Deltarune will be a menu and recipes for a teaparty! A traditional high tea basically includes a lot of little sweets, small cakes, bite-sized sandwiches and other goodies. Hereâs an example of one.
Just like with the Undertale Cookbook, this will be a communal effort: you all can submit your recipes or ideas to the blog, and I can organize, kitchen-test and post them! To help everyone get started, Iâve compiled a big list of the food items you can find in the world of Deltarune, and their in-game descriptions/ideas.
If youâd like to contribute, just jump on over to the submissions page!
