He is so cute I could cry. Last week I decorated our office to build up some Christmas spirit and he officially announced that he's a little bit of a Grinch, which broke my heart.

BUT

Today, while I was changing the batteries on the various lights I've hung around, I hear him whisper my name. I turn around and I see him acting al secretive like a dork (you know, like looking around as if checking that no one is watching him) while proceeding to open his backpack and pulling out a Santa hat.

He brought a Santa hat to wear in the office.

I'm loosing my mind over here guys. We took a break near the coffee machine, just the two of us, and we were chatting about TV shows and whatnot and he did the thing.

This mf.

THAT'S IT, I'M MARRYING HIM

..now, on a calmer note

We had lunch together at the office just the two of us and talked about books the whole time and I am so happy today. We also talked a little bit about the future and what we would like to do with our lives, it was all very sweet.

Oh and this morning I was helping him fill out some forms for our boss that he had never done, which required to choose a gender for the client (unfortunately we need that to generate what you'd call a social security number in our country) and he goes "there's still only male or female as options, this is so unfair, we should really evolve from this" and I-

I just looked at him. And I told him he was right and was something I was glad he said. And I know it's basic human decency, and I'm proud to say that all the people I have in my life share my same values, but it was really nice to hear him say something like that with ease just as I do on a daily basis, it warmed my heart.

This dude is gonna kill me with cuteness

We were still moving furniture around and cleaning and tidying up at the office. He then sat down to rest a bit and as I was standing next to him I noticed he got a little strand of dust in his hair. So I told him that and he fucking inclined his head towards me for me to take it out

2 minutes later I got his like

The cleaning lady threw out the plane and the boat during the weekend

I'm heart broken

I was already sad because with the new shifts we only get to see each other on Tuesdays and Thursdays

I guess I'll make my disappointment clear to him tomorrow and take it as an excuse to chat a bit

We went to the movies. Just the two of us. Alone.

Here's how it went down: yesterday morning he casually said how he wished to go catch Shang-Chi, didn't know when, "maybe even tonight" (I quote). I checked the timeline for him at the local cinema. We were interrupted and nothing came of it.

At this point I made the resolution of asking him to go next Tuesday if he still hadn't gone by then (he's leaving for the weekend to visit his home town, so I figured he might wanna go with his friends there).

But then I had to stay later than usual at the office to finish some work, so I asked if they all wanted to go get drinks at the end of the shift. Everyone else already had plans. Except for him.

So he said (a little jokingly) "yeah I'm free tonight, let's get some drinks and we could also go to the movies after, while we're at it". Jokes on him, cause I obviously said yes.

Guys, when I tell you I was so comfortable around him. We ate pizza, and watched the movie and laughed and talked. It was as if we've known each other for years. I still don't know if it's gonna grow into something more, but I really like him as a person. He's very open and sweet and friendly, very different from my previous experiences, so I don't really know how to read him yet, I guess we'll see.

Let me tell you, we sat very close to each other at the movies and my skin sang wherever our arms and legs touched (and they did throughout the movie, we very much leaned into each other basically). I know it might not mean anything, but it was a great night of fun and companionship and I'm very happy.

I left you all hanging with my office romance, but let's be honest, y'all should be used to cliffhangers, you can handle it

Truth is, things are confusing. I like him, and I'm pretty sure he likes me as a person and friend, since we clearly have a closer relationship compared to our other colleagues (we went to the movies again and we sometimes text), but I'm positive he doesn't see me as something more

Yet

At this point there's something you need to know about me: I'm a fairly indecisive person (as a good libra should be), BUT once I know what I want I don't easily give up. And he is what I want now.*
