it’s so okay to cry or be upset over something you have gotten over. it doesn’t mean this thing still holds power over you, it doesn’t mean you are still hung up over it, it doesn’t mean you want it back or you haven’t learned your lessons. i think it means that you accept the way you feel, even if it confuses you. it means that you are a human being that felt and loved and that doesn’t go away in months. it’s okay. it’s valid. your feelings are valid and you have grown so much from this situation. you are not the same person you once were. you were valid then as you are now. my love, relax. don’t let it create a space in your mind. there’s no space in our minds for things that won’t help us blossom. you are so amazing and you shine so brightly. don’t let shit like this get in the way. of course honor your feelings but after that, continue my dear. you have so so many new things coming in for you. trust me on this. you have a bring future and this thing?! won’t mean a thing to you in a year or so. you are amazing and keep going.

To say I’m over you would be a controversial statement. I moved away months ago and you never cross my mind anymore, but sometimes I remember you. And it’s for a couple of seconds and I usually wonder if you are well, but that’s it. Is it bad to say I miss you? What we had, it was the greatest affair. I’m not sure what would happen if you showed up at my place. Or if I saw you at the store on a weekend back in town. I’m not sure what I’d do. Would my heart sink like all those other times? Would it try and burst out of my chest? For now I’d like to think I’m over you, but I’m not so sure.
