A 1-tile and 2-tile edit of the ‘Woodn’t You Like to Know’ Base Game gate
Struggle no more, you can now place a basic gate in your builds. Like everyone who has played The Sims 4 for more than 8 minutes, the complete lack of tall basic gates is as baffling as it is difficult. And the fact that the ‘Woodn’t You Like to Know’ gate comes in 3 browns and a BLUE swatch but no white??? Like @ the sims team who hurt you??? Anyway I also threw in a 1 tile tall version too because I’m pretty sure there’s only like, three 1 tile tall gates in the entire game after 6 years and none of them are base game. Am I bitter? Are u ? Further info and dl below…

I've had a few asks saying the SFS download was broken so I've reuploaded them to a new SFS folder rather than updated the original files. Hopefully they work now. 👀

is there a mod to rent houses instead of buying them? I don't mean like own a house and rent it out as a landlord, I mean move into a house as a tenant w/ a deposit and pay rent instead of just buying it outright. like making a normal residential lot function similarly to an apartment? I thot there was a mod for this but i can't find it anywhere so maybe i've made it up 🤔

I realise now u said "lamps" plural. Idk if there are other lamps. This one's normal again tho. it shouldn't flicker, and I don't THINK ur sims will get stressed around it. It's also brighter than the original lamp (same light colour, though) which I think makes sense cuz it's now not broken.

14 swatches - 7 cleaned up swatches and the original 7 nasty swatches (see the clean swatches below, i didn't take pictures of the nasty swatches because i forgot)
It costs §5 more than the original because that's how much i would charge a person to clean the goo and fix the skew
i still don't get what's considered good and bad poly-wise but, this has all the right lods and shadow lods etc so should be EAxis poly friendly or something

A sofa, loveseat and extra-wide armchair, plus a refurbished EA armchair
So I've looked in the game, and did you know that across the SIXTY FIVE packs currently available for The Sims™ 4, there are, in my opinion, only EIGHT* sofas that look both: moderately comfortable, and modest aesthetically. Of those eight, only two come with a matching loveseat and armchair. When I saw 'The Best Seat in the House' in EA's newest Basement Treasures kit, I was overcome with a sense of urgency. We can have a ninth comfy, modest-looking sofa set. And here it is! I've cleaned up the textures, and doubled and tripled that original armchair to present to you all, now, a sofa set. I'm a little emo because it looks pretty much identical to the sofa I am sat on right now, and I can confirm that I am VERY comfortable right now. Anyway more pics and D/L link below!!

The extra-wide armchair is a mesh edit of the original armchair to be a bit wider so it matches the sofa and loveseat a bit better (comparison picture below)
All LODs and Shadow LODs done as well

also am i being an unhinged stan or did project rene show apartments from the jump?
my only gripe so far w what we've seen is that walls still seem to be stuck rigidly to full grid tiles, hope we get to see more incremental wall lengths and a wider variety of angles. it should've been done for 4 so def needs to be in 5 !

not going to lie girlies they absolutely served with the sims summit. project rene looks gorgeous - build mode became more modular in TS4 and it was excellent, to see this aspect be even more developed is great. And babies babey!!! i love to talk shit i really do and i'm not gonna lie a lot of the summit was not interesting but they delivered on the news tonight. let me just open the game for the first time in 3 months perhaps.......
Do you have plans to add Integrated Fridges for the counters that came with DHD?
I do not have DHD because I rihfuse to purchase any Sims 4 pack at anything more than half price lmao. But if/when it's on sale and I get it I'll give it a go! I'd also want to make cabinets that tile better instead of those annoying pre-decorated main pieces. 🙄
Which reminds me, I've made full/de-cluttered versions of the Cottage Living cabinets (before and after below). Did someone already do this or is it something anyone would be interested in? 🤔 Did this for all pieces as well, obviously.
Anyway I also need 2 make an integrated fridge 4 this kitchen set too but I'm laaaaaaaazy. 😵💫
