For this last week of SC recs, there are two that come to mind:

The night before their flight leaves, Alexis sends an SOS text. While packing, Alexis finds the DVD copy of her limited reality series, A Little Bit Alexis. A watch party ensues.
This is hilarious and heartbreaking (in a good way).
And
A Hand to Hold by @chelle-68 As David begins to spiral before the wedding, Stevie and Patrick work together to calm him down.

On behalf of all the FRF hosts, past and present, it has been a pleasure to bring both new and old fanworks to everyone's attention over this past year. We've revisted the classics, re-read many personal favourites, and also discovered a plethora of new and enjoyable fanworks along the way. In doing so we have also shown support for our fandom, and for all the fantastic creators who have passed through it having left bountiful gifts for us all to enjoy for many years to come.

(It's not good. David struggles after his family leaves. Patrick & the rest of his found family love him through it.)

Day 5
Occupations: Open Wide was written because someone asked why there were not more fics with Patrick as a dentist. David has a toothache and needs to go to the dentist.
Dr. Patrick Brewer, DDS to the rescue.
Whump & Sick Fic: Only for You Stevie is sick, and David does what any best friend would do in their time of need.
Food: Part of the Color Drabble Series, Eat Your Greens! All 8 drabbles feature David. David shares his love of food with his husband, Stevie, and the rest of the townies.
Fashion: Another Stevie fic that did not get much love. Sharp Dressed (Wo)Man Stevie needs a new business wardrobe. David wants to help.
Self-Care: Cherry Blossoms and Apologies As much as I love David and Patrick, I really love writing David and Stevie. Stevie has a surprise for David.
Work killed me this week, but coming home to share these made the week less bad, and I LOVED seeing everyone's contributions.

Day 4
Song Fic: In Three Weeks I explored what David, Patrick, Alexis, and Stevie felt three weeks after David and Patrick had their first kiss using songs as the titles.
Wedding Bells: Needed to See It for Myself was inspired by @mallpretzles The Truce. This was the first time I reached out to another writer, and was so happy they let me piggyback on their fic. (Fun Fact we later collaborated on a Halloween fic and still bounce ideas off each other from time to time!)
Ladies of SC: Of course I chose a Stevie fic: Survivable was a prompt from a Rare Fest: Stevie’s POV from Finding David S2E1.

Day 3
Sporting: Switching Teams was originally a drabble that a few people wanted to read more about. Ronnie needs a favor from David, and it involves baseball.
Missing Scenes & Codas: I'm going with Keys because one of the 5+1s takes place after everyone leaves the cafe in Meet the Parents. I always hated that their kiss and dancing was interrupted.
Hobbies: I'm choosing Color, Breathe, Repeat from the Schitt's Creek Passions and Pastimes Fest 2022. Marcy sends David a care package to help him deal with stress.
Meet Cute/Ugly: I wrote Sing Me a Song after I saw Noah Reid perform for the first time in Atlanta. Stevie drags David to a concert of her choice. David is smitten with the opening act.
Family: I had to choose my Unbroken series. This series means so much to me, and I am beyond touched that this is still being talked about and enjoyed. Rings Around Your Heart was a story I was so afraid to publish because it was so personal to me. I had no idea I was going to end up creating an entire universe in which other people wanted to follow David, Patrick, and Maddy. I love them all so, so much.

I just got home after working almost 12 hours today, and I still have time to post, so here ya go!
Day 2:
Holidays: I've written a few holiday themed fics, but I'm going to go with one from 2025, The Last Resolution. David, Stevie, and Patrick bet on who'll break their New Year's resolutions the fastest. I love these three together, so anytime I can write for David, Patrick, and Stevie, I will.
Rare Pairs: You Did Good is from a SC Rare Fest where the prompt was
An exploration of David’s interactions/ friendship with Ronnie through the show.
Tropes: I'll Keep You Warm in the Storm David and Patrick get stranded during a freak winter storm while on a vendor run.
Is this the chance they need to admit the feelings they have for one another?
5 +1 & 5 Times: Dark was my 1st 5+1 that I wish got a little more love. Alexis doesn't like the dark.
5 times David was there for Alexis and 1 time she was there for him.
Media: I'm not sure I got the premise for this, but Interflix Killed the Video Star is where Clint and Marcy pay the boys a visit bringing with them something from Patrick's past. (Hint: It is a lot of video tapes)

Day 1:
Light & Fluffy- This was tough because I love writing fluff. That being said, I'm choosing Lost Time that I wrote for @a-noble-dragon. Seems only fitting since they organized this week's themes. In this fic, David questions Patrick's love of PDA while visiting Clint and Marcy.
Humor- I write a lot of humor, but for this I'll rec my Shower Shake-Ups! series. I loved finding new ways when characters found themselves walking in while another was showering. My personal favorites are Patrick walking in on Stevie, David walking in on Stevie, and Ray walking in on David.
Hurt/Comfort- Man About Town was one of my earlies fics where David hurts his ankle. Patrick and Stevie learn some surprising things they never knew about David.
Around the world- For this I choose What Happens in Vegas Can Last Forever. This was an AU different first meeting where David and Patrick meet on their way to Las Vegas. I had a lot of fun writing this one.
