literally i am so grateful to not have a partner or pets or anyone else im responsible to right now. i am so happy being busy and coming home and being alone. makes so much sense why women in academia are often single and or childfree. so many male academics have a wife and kids to do all that so they can be consumed by work. absentee fathers and such. divorces etc (many such cases). compared to the female academics who do have kids who literally can’t and don’t stop bc they’re still the primary caregiver lol.

way too many big life things are happening rn im scared im gonna burn out again
