Avery is skilled at PVP and has good reflexes, overall very courageous and headstrong. I dont like the notion that he's completely clueless or stupid, I imagine he's just impulsive and acts/speaks before fully thinking things through

Derlord, as we know, is very knowledgeable and observant. I imagine he's okay at combat, definitely knows alot of strategies but executing them is a different story. (Knowledge doesn't equal experience lol). Can't land a water bucket clutch for shit probably
