Woke to a beautiful sunrise. Kissed my lover on the nose. Went for a walk. Talked w one friend, then another. Thought abt how there are people I have hurt and who have hurt me in life, there are some I miss and those I don’t, people who are meant to remain a memory of the past and others whose paths may once more cross my own, there is forgiveness and there is a trust that can’t be rediscovered even if they were shrouded in change, but there is no one whose laughter has been forgotten, whose joy and sorrow and love and pain and humanity have been forsaken, who once awoke something that is still a part of me — there is a person beyond the break and without them who would I be now? I miss you and I don’t miss you and I love you and I loved you and I hope to meet again and I hope we never do and I don’t wish to know you today but I’m grateful to have known you yesterday
