I don't really want to make this a big deal and I hate talking about myself (I've written more about what's happening in my personal life elsewhere) so we'll go with bullet points.

I am officially transitioning this blog from Warrior Cats-specific to a more general audience. I miss having a main Tumblr and I'm not doing enough fandom stuff at the moment. I do not anticipate this changing anytime soon.

I don't hate WC. I don't plan on never drawing it again, just significantly less than I have been.

I will continue to draw copious amounts of felines, though.

I do not think I'll be continuing any WC-related comics. Sorry! I may explore some AUs in smaller, more contained projects. I simply do not want to work on a comic where the IP is owned by someone else.

I currently have a sale on Toyhouse liquidating all remaining cat design concepts I have, that will continue to be updated until I'm finished. The ones currently up for grabs are here. I'll be branching out to new stuff after these.

Obviously the majority/most(?) of my audience is WC-related so no hard feelings if you decide to unfollow.

My scary babygirl who has very little relevance other than the fact I love her. She was made for a long-disbanded roleplay but still claws her way out of quarantine every so often.

Her story in brief... She would've been the heir of her colony if her father hadn't been deposed. Then, after her mother is drowned for dissent against the new regime, she plots the leader's downfall and eventually kills him. Not through careful planning, but a bloody fight that's goes for so long that it disturbs and alienates her from both colony and her sibling.

At the beginning of last month someone dropped off 3 sickly kittens at my (now former lol) job. One of them didn't make it, but the other two did. I kept the biggest one and named him Clementine.

May was probably one of the most challenging months I've ever had to endure. I 100% wouldn't have been able to do it without my absolute angel of a roommate. If not for her, we wouldn't have been able to give medication literally around the clock for 4 weeks fhfmdfkfd

Clem himself was extremely anemic and nearly faded at about 5 days old (and probably would have, if he hadn't weighed as much as he did). My other cat, Nermal, nearly died from pneumonia (that's a story for a different day). Somehow, despite the incredibly difficult circumstances, both of them survived.

I had asked what Warrior Cat to draw next and someone mentioned Hollyleaf - who I've technically designed before, but decided to redo for the occasion (and because I miss her).

I feel like my previous designs for her lost direction because I made her too fluffy - my most recent design for her is pretty close to how I picture her in my head. Narrow, well-built, and strong. More of a sprinter than a long-distance stamina runner.

I didn't even want to post the old one, it's so bad.

I'm not sure why I gave him partially green eyes in the old version - I think I just wanted the contrast of something different (I had also been drawing a lot of blue-eyed cats at the time).
