~Long before the Avatar, there was another soul entrusted with the balance between the mortal and Spirit Worlds.
For a thousand years, the Realm Breakers have been forgotten.
Until now.
As Team Avatar races to end the Hundred Year War, a mysterious young woman named Aurora finds herself swept into their journey. But while the world believes the Avatar alone holds its future, the spirits know an older story, one buried beneath ten thousand years of silence.
Some legends were never meant to stay forgotten.
[Hi guys! This is a fic is a canon-compliant retelling of Avatar: The Last Airbender featuring an original protagonist.
The original series remains the backbone of the story, with Aurora woven into canon rather than replacing it. The narrative gradually shifts beyond the television series into an original continuation exploring the forgotten history of the Realm Breakers and the Spirit World.
I have been working on for a long time for myself and decided I would post it here as well! I hope you enjoy it!]
Long ago, after a war caused the nation to split into four. An Avatar fell in love with a women who had the ability to be apart of and control that of the spiritual realm. She was a critical part of the ending of the war, helping the Avatar where no one else could. Her abilities were one of a kind, unlike that of the now 4 nations. Fire, Water, Air, and Earth. Due to the nature of the war, the Avatar decided to hide her abilities behind the already known knowledge of his own ability to convene with the spirit world to protect her from a world scared of what they did not know. Though he called her "Realm breaker", a name that all future Avatars would know the whispers of even if they never got the chance to meet one of their own during their lifetime.
As time would go on, and new avatars would come and go. Some would meet Realm breakers of their own, some never would, as after the last Realm breakers death, the species of magics seemed to all but go extinct for hundreds of years, leaving newer Avatars and those close to them to wonder if they ever even existed at all, or if they were a story made in passing.
That is until now, 11 years before the return of the Avatar, a baby girl is born to a rich family within the Earth Nation. The youngest and last born to a large family. They named her Aurora. They choose that name as she was born early, and her skin was almost translucent for the first 24 hours of her life against her light blonde hair. Doctors initially wondered if she had albinism, as her strikingly pale skin and hair were unheard of in the region. However, further testing showed her vision was perfect, and despite being born unusually small, she was entirely healthy.
As a baby, Aurora would coo and babble to seemingly nobody, her family chalking it up to her being a baby and later just being a child with an overactive imagination with imaginary friends.
But the older she got, and the more unexplainable things that happened around her became the more her family pulled away from her.
She was 6 years old the first time her abilities became more than just something she could see or feel. Aurora's mother had went in to check on her one night before going to bed, to find her room glowing a light blue. Aurora was asleep in the air, with her room furniture and toys floating around her with a light blue glow.
Her mother screamed, ripping Aurora out of her sleep state causing everything floating and her to come crashing down onto the floor, Aurora hitting her head on her dresser, splitting her skin open near her eye.
Her mother had run out, calling down the hallway to wake up her father.
Aurora’s head throbbed as dark red blood spilt from the cut near her eye.
She was frightened enough waking up the way she did, not knowing what happened, let alone when her mother and father mother and father came rushing back in, her father screaming at her for an explanation she didn't have.
Her father had always been a more harsh man, though he has never paid much if any attention to her.
"What did you do?!" Her father yelled pushing her
Aurora's eyes grew wide and her mouth and her lip quivered
"I dont know-" she tries
"Of course you know, you were doing whatever your mom saw you do!" He pushed her again causing her to grunt at the force of the shove.
As her father screamed at her, her eyes drifted to two figures outlined in a glowing blue infront of her, one man and one woman. The women looked at her father, fury in her eyes. The man knelt before her, trying to tell her to just breath.
"Who are you looking at?!" Her father roared grabbing her chin and pulling her face to look at him, causing her to whine in pain at how tightly her held her small face.
When her father didnt get an answer he shoved her away from him and walked out pulling her mother with him
"We need to get rid of her. She is a problem that I will not be responsible for. I already have to deal with the rest of her siblings." He spoke pulling her away from the door
The women stood by the door muttering curses under her breath before beginning to pace back and forth.
While the man spoke quietly at the women trying to get her to calm down
On the other side of the room Aurora curled into herself and began to cry, drawing the attention of both of them to her
"She is a Realm Breaker, Roku" Kyoshi spoke to him
"I know. We must remove her from this place, she is not safe here" Roku told her
"What exactly are we going to do? We can exactly interact with the living world let alone raise her. She is a baby, Roku."
"Yes, and what do you think they will do her, Kyoshi" he bit back
Kyoshi shook her head with a sigh, she knew he was right.
"What do you suppose we do?" She asks her
Roku looked at Aurora and kneeled back down
"Young one, we must leave." Roku tells her
Aurora wipes the tears from her cheeks
"Where am I supposed to go?" She asked between tears
Just as Roku was about to speak, her bedroom door slammed open and her father walked in grabbing her wrist and pulling her to her feat harshly and dragging her out of the room
"Daddy-! Your hurting me!" She cried" Aurora cried as she was pulled out of the house
Kyoshi and Roku ran after her, watching her father through her into what most would consider a cage in a the back of his wagon.
Hours later and the wagon came to a stop, Aurora had long fell asleep from exhaustion of crying and fear.
Aurora’s father existed the wagon, put the cage onto the floor near gates of a village and left without a second glance.
The next morning a women found Aurora at the gates and took her in, she fed her and clothed her but never was her protector
Aurora spent most of the next 5 years in the forest, she felt more home there than in the village.
She was in the forest when whispers of "The Avatar" began to surface the village.
She has been trying to figure out why Hei Bai for t he last few days had been kidnapping people from the village and dragging them into the spirit realm.
It had been so kind and loving towards her, but at sundown it became something else.
She had come home late one day in the hopes that maybe she could stop Hei Bai herself, she saw an elder from the village leading a small group of kids into the village she had never seen before.
Two of them looked a few years older than her, but their was a boy with arrows tattooed across his body, the most notable on his head. He looked about her age.
"Thats him-" Roku suddenly appeared behind her, causing her to jump and look at him behind her. The women who took her in quietly nudged her when she saw that she was looking at nothing. With the spiritual issues the town was having the last few months, the last thing she needed was the village believing it was this child she took it's fault, despite her knowing it was not.
"Oh..sorry" she apologized to the women, going back to looking as the elder entered the room.
"This young person is the Avatar." The man spoke
Another elder walked towards the group
"So the rumors of you return are true..It is the greatest honor of a lifetime to be in your presence." The other elder spoke
"Nice to meet you, too." The boy with the tattoos spoke
There was a brief awkward silence
"So, is there something I can help you with?" The boy asked
"Im not sure." The elder answered
"You must go speak to that boy, Aurora" Roku spoke using what little contact he had with her to slowly push her to move.
Aurora couldn't risk looking back at him, deciding to speak to him in her head knowing he could hear her.
'Speak to him about what exactly?! "Hey my name is Aurora and I have some weird connection with spirits and all the dead versions of you."' She questioned him in her head as he tried to push her.
"Yes! Exactly!" Roku spoke like it was common knowledge
Aurora scoffed
"Our village is in crisis! He is our only hope" the elder who brought the Avatar spoke to the other.
"For the last few days at sunset, a spirit monster comes and attacks our village…
He is Hei Bai, the black and white spirit." The elder continues having turned to face the group
"Why is it attacking you?" The older boy asked
"We do not know. But each of the last 3 nights, he has abducted one of our own. We are especially fearful because the winter solstice draws near" the other elder speaks moving to look out the door.
"What happens then?" The older girl asked
"As the solstice approaches, the natural world and the spirit world grow closer and closer, until the line between them is blurred completely." The first elder tells them
"Hei Bai is already causing devastation and destruction. Once the solstice is here, there is no telling what will happen." The second elder adds.
"So…what do you want me to do exactly?" The tattooed boy asked
"Who better to resolve a crisis between our world and the spirit world, than the Avatar himself? You are the great bridge between man and Spirits" the first elder spoke
"Right…..Thats me" The move spoke confusion in his voice.
"The elder is incorrect, while we do hold and posses the ability to resolve conflict between the Living and the Spirit world, those abilities were largely only developed when….."Roku speaks before stopping himself short
'What? When what?' Aurora spoke through her mind
"You must speak to him, you may not believe me now, but he needs you and you will need him. It is written in your destiny's child."
'You are talking crazy' she spoke back yo him
"No more crazy then you speaking to me right now." He shoots back calmly causing her to sigh in defeat.
Soon the older girl calls the tattooed boy over near a window. The small two talking amongst themselves. For someone seemingly so powerful, his face said the complete opposite.
"Go child!" Roku pushed harder this time forcing Aurora to walk in their direction or fall flat on her face.
"Aang you seem a little unsure about this" The older girl spoke to the tattooed boy who she now knew to be named Aang.
"Yea, that might be because I dont know anything at all about the spirt world." The boy admitted looking at the floor, as the older boy walked over to them.
The two older kids looked at each other briefly before looking to Aang.
"Its not like there's someone to teach me this stuff!" Aang pushed back seeing the looks on the older kid's faces.
"So, can you help these people?" The girl asked
"I have to try dont I?" Maybe whatever I have to do will just….come to me?" Aang spoke as a monkey creature with big ears jumped onto his shoulder.
"I think you can do it, Aang." The girl smiled at him.
The older boy smiled and nodded his head
"Yeah. We're all gonna get eaten by a spirit monster." He spoke.
"Uh….um, I might actually be able to help?" Aurora who had shuffled quietly over to not disturb their conversation spoke at almost a whisper.

Dorn Squad's Quarters, Jedi Temple || A few hours after returning to Coruscant || Sadhbh
Sadhbh stands in her shower watching the water swirl at her feet.
Around and around the water goes, gurgling sporadically as if it's trying to tell her something.
Sadhbh yawns and the gurgles fade to the background for a brief moment.
Her limbs feel like duracrete is weighing them down and she had used all her strength to climb into the shower. All she wants to do is curl up and sleep for days.
There's one big problem.
Tension runs through her body, the adrenaline from the recon station still courses through her despite her exhaustion.
So even if she did get into bed right now, she doesn't think her body will let her sleep. It'll be another night of tossing and turning until early morning rays peek through her curtains.
A shiver runs through her, but not from any chill.
Heat pools in her abdomen and she shifts on her feet trying to ignore the feeling. Sadhbh rinses out her conditioner but even the slight tug of her fingers running through her hair makes her body react.
Tingles run down to her core.
Sadhbh laughs weakly at herself.
Missions always seem to leave her horny these days.
She could go to a bar and try to find someone interested in her. Sadhbh shakes her head before the thought even finishes. Even if she does find an interested someone, the uneasy thought of a stranger peeling back her layers, exposing her to them, winds around her throat like barbed wire.
Sadhbh leans her head back, the water now hitting her forehead. The little spatters of water are oddly soothing on her flushed skin as she mulls over her options. Rivulets of water stream down her face and onto her chest, caressing her skin as they go.
Her throat is still tight when she swallows.
She decides to take care of it herself. She's tired, but she can guarantee herself an orgasm. And she doesn't have to get involved with anyone else.
Her throat loosens and Sadhbh manages to take in a deep breath.
Let's get this over with so I can sleep.
Leaning up against the cool tile of the fresher wall she closes her eyes, letting her hands drift over her body. Slowly, one hand moves up to her breasts, avoiding the still-healing frost burn on her sternum, and the other moves down between her legs.
Sadhbh's mouth falls open as she toys with a nipple letting the jolts run through her chest and down to her core. From how tense she feels, she knows it won't take much for her to come.
Good.
Moving to the other nipple she rolls it between her fingers, making her skin tingle and goosebumps raise along her arms. The familiar sensations feel good. Comfortable. Safe.
This is exactly what she needs.
Without thinking, she opens her legs up to let her other hand work. She strokes her clit with her finger, light and ghosting, almost teasing in how she lets her hips roll into her touch. She knows how to build it up and push herself over the edge. She doesn't have to think too much about it at this point.
Sadhbh's breath stutters when her hips angle her clit just right underneath her fingertip and a spark runs through her.
Wolffe's fingers would feel so much better.
Sadhbh freezes, her eyes staring wide at nothing.
She swallows heavily. Her body is even more wired than before and Sadhbh feels her clit throbbing from just thinking about him.
Fuck.
Why the fuck did she think of him just now?
Under the stream of water, Sadhbh can't find an answer. The creeping sensation that she's about to overheat from need pulls at her. Her heartbeat thumps in her ears and even her mouth is full of saliva.
Her body wants more. She wants more.
Leaning back against the tiles, Sadhbh puts her hands back where they had been. She pinches and rolls her nipple harder making herself gasp and whimper. The jolts from her teasing joins the sparks as she swirls her clit until she feels it. That tell-tale feeling of the peak beginning to grow like a wave hurtling closer to the shoreline.
Would Wolffe tease her? Or would he cave at her first request?
Her fingers on her clit slide down through her folds until she feels her entrance.
Her breath hitches.
She's wet—when was the last time she was this wet?—and the wave within her gets stronger, building faster the more it grows. As she slides two fingers inside, a memory flashes of Wolffe wrapping his hand around a glass as he passes it to her in 79s, his mouth pulled up into that challenging smirk of his.
He would probably fill her with just one finger, let alone two.
Sadhbh gasps as she clenches hard around her fingers.
Remember how good his hands had felt in 79s?
She does.
She thinks back to how Wolffe had caressed her neck with his breath the night he had put bacta on her shoulder. How his fingers had dug deep into her muscle. How his bodyheat had seeped into her from how close they had been, his chest almost brushing her back. How his callouses had rubbed her skin when he gripped her wrist to massage her palm.
Tingles run up and down her spine at the memory, leaving goosebumps in their wake.
She squeezes her breast and strokes at her walls.
She remembers him gripping her biceps in the fresher. He had looked deep into her eyes as he held her, anchoring himself to her, vowing that they won't go back to before.
Would he hold her close? Engulf her as he pulls her apart?
Sadhbh thinks about how it would feel to open her eyes in the shower and stare straight into his. Would he watch her? Would he bury his face into her neck instead? Or would he turn her around and press his temple to hers?
Fuck, he could move her any way he wants to. She would let him.
A whimper leaves her and her body tenses as the wave gets so much closer.
She rolls her hips forward trying to help her fingers hit deeper as they curl desperately inside. The wave within her builds up, and up, and up.
What if he got down on his knees?
The wave crashes.
Sadhbh comes with a cry. Sparks run up and down her body as her muscles tightens and her knees threaten to give way. Her head thunks against the tiles but she doesn't care.
Waves run through her, one after the other, leaving her breathless as pleasure wracks her.
A moan reaches her ears. It's her, she realises and her head falls forward limply when she pulls her fingers out.
Her palms splay against the tiles holding her up while she pants like a charhound in heat. Steam from the shower curls around her, doing nothing to help cool her down. Her head is dizzy in the best way and Sadhbh sighs, the sound tinged with the fatigue of a satisfying orgasm.
When the wave of pleasure recedes, her control of her limbs begin to come back to her. Her hands are barely able to turn off the shower, her fingers clumsily gripping the handle. She laughs breathlessly when she's finally able to stop the water.
Grabbing her towel she dries herself with clumsy limbs and stumbles naked into her room.
Clambering onto her bed, she manages to get under the duvet.
Only one thought enters her head when she curls up.
How the fuck am I meant to look Wolffe in the eye now?
She doesn't remember anything after that.
Sadhbh's room || A few hours later || Sadhbh
Her comm is ringing.
Somewhere outside of her duvet cocoon, it buzzes and rings.
Sadhbh twists and pushes back the duvet trying to get her bearings. Her body is a mess of contradictions. Her painkillers have worn off, so now her stiffness and aches are making themselves known to her all over her body. Her ribs throb with each twist in her bed.
But she's still floating in the fuzziness of her orgasm.
Sore and drowsy at the same time, she manages to pull away her duvet. Spying her comm on her bedside table she grabs it with a heavy hand.
"Hmm?" She answers without checking the caller name, sleep still pulling at her as she lies back on her pillow.
Wolffe's low chuckle has her immediately perking up.
"Am I interrupting?"
Her breath hitches.
Last night flashes in her mind for a split second and she feels her cheeks warm at the thought. Tamping down the memory she takes a deep breath and smiles despite her embarrassment.
"Sleeping, but," she pulls her comm away to check the time and grimaces, "I really should get up."
"79s later?" A hopeful hint laces his deep voice.
Sadhbh nods to herself before the ache in her ribs has her grimacing, "I would but... I'm going to stay in tonight." At Wolffe's disappointed hum she offers, "I have the squad's common area to myself tonight, you're welcome to come over." She adds quickly, "Only if you want to, that is."
His confirmation is immediate, "I'll be there."
Sadhbh smiles again without realising it. The more they talk, the more assured she feels that she's not going to be weird with him. Thankfully her cheeks get the hint and she feels them start to cool.
But Wolffe isn't done. "Why are you staying in?"
She huffs a laugh, "A bit battered and bruised from that mission."
He makes an understanding noise, "I'll bring beer. Is now good?"
Sadhbh breathes a sigh of contentment. His deep voice is soothing and she can feel herself starting to drift again as she relaxes. Her body feels so good despite the aches, and Wolffe's voice only encourages the fuzzy feeling threatening to engulf her again.
"Sadhbh?"
Sadhbh shakes herself out of her trance, blinking, "Hmm?"
"Is now good?" he repeats.
Sadhbh swallows, "Actually... have you ate yet?"
Dorn Squad's Common Area || A while later || Sadhbh
Sadhbh stands at the kitchen island chopping some vegetables.
She's sore and stiff. The joints in her lower half feel weird, like they're still stretched from the zero gravity of the recon station. Her ribs are annoying her. Yet, the telltale fuzziness of her orgasm still clings to her body and as she works, she savours the feeling as much as possible.
It's a light, floaty feeling that makes her want to drift off back to sleep again, even now.
It's been a while since she has last felt like this.
Sadhbh pauses, her hand holding the knife freezing mid-air, when she realises just how long it has been. It had been her last hookup with Tena'a, some months before the war had started. Sadhbh grimaces, it's been almost a year.
She shakes her head at herself. Sadhbh really needs to take better care of herself.
The door leading out of the squad's quarters wooshes open revealing Wolffe in the doorway.
Sadhbh looks over to smile lopsidedly at him and leans her uninjured side on the edge of the counter, leaving the vegetables neglected.
Looking at him, Sadhbh can't help but give him a glance over.
He's dressed differently tonight. A leather jacket dyed black and heavy jeans. And is that...? He's wearing a tee emblazoned with the distinct design of an up and coming band, The Agasar.
He looks good.
Sadhbh swallows.
Wolffe gives her a soft smirk as he steps in, throwing his jacket onto a hook, and finally places a crate of beer bottles on the counter.
"Some beer for the patient."
Just like that, the residual tension she had been holding in her body because of last night, evaporates. She needn't have worried about looking him in the eye. Not when he can make her laugh this easily.
Sadhbh scoffs, "I'm not that bad."
He quirks a brow, amused, "So you don't want them?"
She holds her hands up in a surrendering gesture, "Definitely didn't say that. Stick them in the fridge for the time being." When he does, she looks him properly in the eyes, "Thank you. You didn't have to."
Wolffe gives her a one shouldered shrug as he watches her. He's checking her over, she realises, just like she did to him. Suddenly she feels underdressed in her own home, with her baggy hoody and baggy joggers. At least her hair is washed and (sort of) presentable.
Wolffe folds his arms across his chest, bringing her attention back to him. "Battered and bruised then?"
Sadhbh grins sheepishly. She flexes her fingers and stands on each leg to show that she has no major injuries. She can't hide the stiffness of her movements or her grimaces, which he picks up on of course.
He just gives her an amused eye roll in return.
And then he nudges Sadhbh gently away from the vegetables and starts chopping. She squawks at him about being a guest but he stands firm, staring at her with raised eyebrows.
"Sit. I can finish this."
There's that no nonsense tone of his on-duty voice. The one he had tried to use in the fresher with her a few nights ago. As if Sadhbh is ever going to listen. So Sadhbh leans back on the edge of the counter staring up at him with a challenge in her eyes.
Wolffe locks eyes with her and smirks, "Stubborn."
She hums in confirmation.
A few minutes pass in comfortable silence with Wolffe taking her hushed direction with the next steps for dinner. He's unpractised, but Sadhbh can see him take it all in. He asks question after question, nodding at her answers and probing for details. She guesses he'll be able to do this without flaw on his own the next time.
It's as the oil begins to sizzle in the pan that he finally breaks the quiet. He glances up at her for a quick second before looking back down to the food in the pan.
"Can you talk about the mission?"
Sadhbh nods, telling him while she pulls various ingredients from the cupboards. Wolffe frowns at the orders she had been given but lets her continue uninterrupted. When she goes off on a tangent to tell him to ensure The Perseverance's maintenance is up to date, he gets a soft look and gives her a quiet assurance before she goes back to debriefing him.
It's when she tells him about the commando droid punching her in her ribs that he stops to look at her concerned.
"That's why you're stiff."
Sadhbh sighs, "One reason. It doesn't look too bad though." At Wolffe's disbelieving glance she pulls up her hoody and the vest top underneath. "See?"
Wolffe's inhale is a hiss and Sadhbh looks down to check her side. It looks far better than when Airmid had treated it on the way back. But she realises now that the splotches of blues and purples do look pretty bad if you hadn't seen it earlier.
"I can see that droid's fucking knuckles in that bruise." His finger centimetres away from her skin, he points to the impression of the droid's fist and looks back up at her, his face set in an unreadable expression. "Anything broken?"
Sadhbh shakes her head and relief flashes across his face.
Suddenly Sadhbh feels guilty for worrying him. Wolffe must see it in her face for he shakes himself and goes back to cooking, too casually in Sadhbh's eyes.
Wolffe clears his throat quietly and gives her a sidelong look, "Did you get it back?"
A small smile pulls at Sadhbh's mouth, "I did."
He looks back down at the food, his mouth tugging up in the corner, "Good."
Assured for now, Sadhbh nods, and goes to set the table. When she comes back to the kitchen island, Wolffe turns away from the pan and gently grips her biceps to look at her. It's just like how he had held her in the fresher in 79s, anchoring them together, and everything in the room that isn't them fades.
He doesn't speak, simply locks eyes with hers.
Sadhbh's eyes bounce between his trying to figure out what he's thinking, but he doesn't give anything away. She doesn't ask him, content to stand there in his gentle grip while he sorts his thoughts out. She watches him watch her, letting him read her face. They're close enough that she can feel his bodyheat through her hoody and tendrils of his breath ghost along her face.
The urge to reach up to run her fingers through his hair hits her from out of nowhere.
Wolffe glances down, swallowing as if to speak, before intense sizzling noises remind them about their food. The moment forgotten, they jump to the stove to turn it off. Sadhbh moves in tandem with Wolffe, the pair of them dancing an unplanned choreography of where to stand in the kitchen and when.
As Wolffe plates the food, Sadhbh reaches into the fridge for a couple of beers and pulls out her bottle opener. It's shaped like the Jedi Order's logo, Sadhbh had pilfered it from one of the Order's big festivals some time ago, and it receives a quietly entertained look from Wolffe when he sees it.
When Sadhbh goes to sit, she notices out of the corner of her eye that Wolffe has a hand raised behind her, ready to catch her if her legs give out. He's completely unapologetic when she pointedly informs him that she can see him.
"I'm your nurse for tonight. You're not allowed to argue."
Sadhbh laughs loudly at the thought of Wolffe as a nurse. As she slumps into her seat, her joints protesting as she moves, and her laugh turns into a strangled groan.
Taking her first bite of dinner, Sadhbh closes her eyes in satisfaction at how good the food tastes. She gives Wolffe an appreciative smile who ducks his head and quietly thanks her.
As they eat, Wolffe tells her about how his brother, Fox, had given him the clothes and the beer. Apparently being in the Coruscant Guard is as cushy as the rumours say. The Guard is loaded in goods, mainly from confiscations, but Senators also habitually throw just about anything out.
So the Guard takes it and when they're lucky, some clones friendly with the Guard can take it.
Sadhbh chuckles at the story and her reaction seems to bolster Wolffe, so he tells her more stories of the Guard as the evening drifts by. The Guard is a division that she's had little interaction with, so she hangs onto everything he tells her.
It's clear from how he talks about this Fox that they're close. Batchmates, he tells her. They were thick as thieves on Kamino and to Sadhbh, it sounds like being separated by the war still hasn't stopped them.
Listening to Wolffe talk about Fox makes him look... lighter, Sadhbh thinks. Like the weight of the war and everything that has happened to him takes a step back for those moments.
And there's someone else she's curious about. The brother who, all those months ago, had helped her get Wolffe out of 79s after his bender. Short hair, scar down his left temple. The one who had called her sweetheart.
"What about your other brother; Cody, I think his name was?"
Wolffe grins, "Another batchmate. He's the one who always pretends like he's got it together. Telling us off when he's just as bad."
Sadhbh snorts, "The older brother." That definitely explains his mannerisms that night in 79s. Older, tired, swooping in to help.
Wolffe's grin only stretches wider, "How'd you guess?"
She chuckles, "All older siblings are like that." She remembers having to get her own siblings out of scrapes. So many years ago now. There's a pang in her chest that threatens to appear but she pushes it down as she gets to her feet with Wolffe hovering beside her.
They move to the sofa, the holoprojector showing some animated holoseries while they continue to talk, oblivious to the scenes before them.
Sadhbh looks over at Wolffe, "You repainted your armour recently."
She's referring to the second grey design that she's seen him in. This time the design is inverted from before, with more grey covering the plastoid. It's artistic and flowy with the brushstrokes made to look like tufts of fur. Impressively, it looks so much like fur that at first glance you wouldn't think it's paint on plastoid.
Wolffe nods thoughtfully. "I want to change it already."At Sadhbh's questioning look, he continues, "Too much grey. I'm not distinct enough on the ground."
She can see why. He wants to be seen, by his men and droids alike on the battlefield.
"Do you have another idea?"
He nods, his mouth tugging up in the corner as he drinks his beer. "A few. Some are too much, but I'm thinking of a simpler one." He traces lines a few centimetres away from his body to show her. It's a spiky design, simple like he said. But clear-cut and visible like he wants.
Sadhbh thoughtfully says, "I can't wait to see it." Wolffe takes another sip of his beer but she sees the faint flush of his cheeks that she knows isn't down to the beer.
"Are you changing the jetpack?"
He raises a brow, still slightly flustered, "Wasn't going to."
Sadhbh nods and smiles, "It's cool. Would be a shame to redo that so soon."
This time there's no denying it. His skin flushes once more, but this time it spreads right across his face and he looks away to the holoprojector. Sadhbh copies him and settles back, content to wait for him.
She hadn't meant to embarrass him. He's skilled and as far as compliments go, she only gave him a small one. But flustering him like this is intriguing her at the same time.
A few moments later, she realises that he's coming back to himself as his attention drifts away from the holoprojector again. As he looks around the room, a piece of folded flimsi on the table in front of them catches Wolffe's eye.
Or rather, he finally asks about it since he's been glancing at it since they've sat down.
Tilting his chin at it, he asks, "What's that?"
Sadhbh slowly leans over to grab it, holding her breath as she leans back so she doesn't groan. Passing it to him, she explains, "A wiring diagram for my speeder."
"You have a speeder?" Wolffe glances at her with interest.
She nods, "Aye. It needs a few things." Pointing to a corner of the flimsi she leans into him to find what she's looking for. "See there? Yeah I need that connector and.... that junction there. I need to replace that whole wire there," she leans into him more to trace the line in question, "Things were so old they crumbled when I pulled them out to get at the repulsor."
He pauses, a flash of understanding in his eyes. "You like to fix things."
She shrugs, "I do what I can." He's looking at her again, an expression on his face that she can't quite decipher. Hazarding a guess, she asks, "Do you...? Want to see it?"
She doesn't think that's why he had been looking at her, but he perks up regardless.
"Yeah." As she starts to move, he stops her, his hand on top of hers. "Tomorrow, when you're better."
Thank fuck.
Sadhbh nods, "Okay."
"What else are you fixing?"
Humming, she thinks out loud. "A few things for Bee-Ar, an energy shield that I'm playing about with, oh and the commando droid."
"The what?" His eyes are wide, half shocked, half amused.
Sadhbh sips at her beer unperturbed, "The Commando droid that got into the ship. It's in pretty good shape all things considered."
Wolffe raises his brows at her, still somewhat taken aback, "What are you going to do with a fucking Commando droid?"
She shrugs a shoulder, "Repair and reprogramme it."
"And... after that?"
She shrugs, "Dunno yet. I just wanted to see if I could."
Wolffe doesn't reply and Sadhbh glances at him over the lip of her bottle to find him already looking at her.
Something knocks loose in Sadhbh's chest at his expression, his worry from earlier nowhere to be seen. Now he's looking at her with his eyes soft and rounded, and a soft smile pulling at his mouth.
He swallows and Sadhbh's eyes can't help but look down at his throat.
Wolffe mutters lowly, "I don't doubt that you can."
Sadhbh glances back up, her cheeks flushing and she swears the room has gotten warmer. She's so close to him again, somehow gravitating to him on the sofa without realising it. Wolffe doesn't look away from her.
Glancing away, she whispers a thanks, not sure why she's getting so flustered.
She swears that the heating must have turned on from how warm she is. Awkwardly, Sadhbh shifts to stiffly pull her hoody off. Leaning back she looks back to see Wolffe frowning at her chest.
"What happened?"
His voice is gruff from worry and he flicks his eyes back up to focus on her face.
She waves him off, "Same mission. Little side effect of wearing a kyber crystal. This one really isn't bad."
He glances between her eyes before he relaxes and nods at her, reassured. The fact that he doesn't look worried like earlier buoys her and she gets the itch to make him laugh again.
"It did ruin my plans to wear the most tit revealing dress for 79s. It's the real reason I didn't go out tonight." She makes her voice sound as wistful as possible as she throws her hand over her forehead, but she ruins it by grinning at the end.
It still has the intended effect.
Wolffe splutters and coughs into his beer. Sadhbh laughs, delighted with his reaction, and that in turn pulls a loud laugh from him.
There's a pause where he closes his eyes, his face flushed, before he clears his throat and he shifts to pull a cushion onto his lap.
Leaning his beer bottle precariously on it and laying back against the sofa, he fully looks at Sadhbh, the blue glow of the holoprojector highlighting the curve of his jaw as he moves.
The sound from the holoseries fades to almost nothing and even the background sounds of the kitchen behind Sadhbh become muffled.
They're sitting even closer, when they moved again, she doesn't know. Her shoulder is pressed into his and she realises now that his bodyheat has been warming her since they sat down.
Sadhbh swallows as her eyes trace the glow along his neck and up his face.
He has a little scar in his hairline by his temple. She's never seen it before but it's clearly old and well healed.
She wants to touch it.
Wolffe's eyes flick over her face in a relaxed assessment, his eyelashes capturing Sadhbh's attention with each movement. Here on her sofa he looks right at home, surrounded by cushions, and drowsy from dinner.
Heat pools into her core.
Sadhbh internally slaps her libido.
Now is not the time.
Reluctantly, she breaks their trance and glances away when she moves to distract herself.
Sadhbh's body protests at her when she tucks her legs up under her to curl up on the sofa. She grimaces when she realises that she forgot to take her painkillers with dinner.
She swings her legs back out again, wriggling her toes as they meet the cool floor.
"Where are you going?" Concern bleeds into Wolffe's voice as he reaches out to help her again.
Sadhbh looks back at Wolffe, "Forgot my drugs."
Wolffe scoffs and stands up. Sadhbh glares at him for being able to move so effortlessly and he seems to know what she's thinking from the way he smirks at her.
"Sit back down." He doesn't give her a chance to reply before he guides her back onto the sofa, where she sighs with relief.
He's still holding onto her when he asks, "Where are they?"
It's a testimony to her pain that she answers his question truthfully.
Sadhbh pauses, "On my bedside table. I think?"
He doesn't wait immediately disappearing into her room, reappearing quickly with the box of painkillers and he shakes them in question.
Sadhbh nods gratefully and as he tosses her the box as he goes to the kitchen to grab a glass of water for her.
"Thank you." Sadhbh sips some water making a face when the pills try to fight her.
"Of course," is all he says before he settles back onto the sofa beside her. He's even closer to her this time, so much more of him presses up against her, but Sadhbh isn't complaining.
The conversation lulls and ebbs, fatigue beginning to catch up now that the night stretches into the early hours. He's so warm and her painkillers are starting to kick in. Everything makes her feel drowsy and she blinks hard trying to keep herself awake.
Wolffe nudges her with his shoulder to get her attention. "Sleep." He's looking at her with a soft look that she's never seen him use before.
She likes it.
"The night's still young." Not even Sadhbh believes her words which come out slurred and incoherent.
Wolffe snorts and slumps back on the sofa so she can rest her head on his shoulder.
thinking about omega!princess who goes into heat while on the road with knight!ghost.
he wants her so badly, but clearly not as badly as she wants him given the way she lunges, the way she pins him down with snarling teeth and tears in her eyes, pressing her leaking cunt against his codpiece and riding it like it's his cock. begging him to breed her and ghost is going crazy because he wants to knot her more than he's ever wanted anything in his life. the man is salivating, foaming at the mouth to be inside of her, and poor princess who is sobbing and crying for him, asking why he won't fuck her, she can feel how hard he is but he won't fuck her :( as if he codpiece were his cock and not hard steel. and poor ghost who is going to come in his armor, fat cock attempting to knot his breeches while his princess rubs her poor pussy raw on hard metal until she manages to come and relieve some of the heat insanity.
poor knight!ghost holding his charge in the chill of a stream as she thrashes and growls at him, trying to avoid looking at her as the water makes her under-dress cling to her sweat sticky skin and her sweet voice demands he fuck her, please, please fuck her, he said he would take care of her, why isn't he taking care of her? :(

Like, I know AI is bad for the planet and all that, but I also think me, as an 18 year old, won’t make it to 40 anyways. But I still hate to come onto online spaces to read fics written by talented people and all I see is AI. If you want to use AI to write your lil fics, at least tell us up front so we won’t have to waste our time🥀
Amelia sighs lying in Damian's bed under a bunch of blankets, waiting for Damian to come home. After a few hours Amelia ends up in fetal position with warm tears flowing down her cheeks. "Hayati, what are you doing here?" Damian asks as he walks into his bedroom. "I don't feel very well," Amelia mumbles as Damian starts changing out of his Robin uniform. "I should just go into my room and leave you alone, you don't want to deal with me," Amelia starts as she stands up. "If you don't feel well, lay down," Damian says as he finishes changing. "I'm not bugging you?" Amelia asks. "Of course not beloved, tell me what's wrong, please," Damian says as he lies next to Amelia and she climbs into his warmth. "I just don't feel well, and I want you," Amelia says into his chest. "Are your cramps bad today?" Damian asks. "Yeah," Amelia replies. "Is it that obvious?" Amelia asks. "Only to me, you're a little warm, clingy and its been almost exactly a month since your last cycle," Damian explains. "So you think I'm an ugly, bloody monster?" Amelia asks. "It's natural, nothing to be ashamed of, just like I tell you every month," Damian says as he rubs her back as Amelia settles in the crook of his neck.
A few hours later Amelia ends up waking up with painful cramps and tosses and turns. "Habibti?" Damian mumbles. "I'm sorry, go back to sleep please," Amelia sighs. Damian wraps his arms around her torso and rests his hands on her lower belly. "Oh that's lovely," Amelia says as Damian starts massaging the area as well. "This is helping beloved?" Damian asks. "Yes, you have magic hands, my love," Amelia groans. "You're very kind hayati, I don't believe this is the first time you've told me this either," Damian chuckles as Amelia giggles. "Don't make me laugh it hurts," Amelia adds. "I'm sorry," Damian mumbles kissing the back of her neck. Shortly after Amelia falls asleep; not thinking of cramps or bleeding; just Damian and his warmth.
