no matter the time, no matter the place -------- every universe, it seemed, followed one and the same pattern. some things never changed. here he was, standing in front of what he could only assume was a king, in an elven dwelling of sorts ---- none that he’d recognize from his own time. it was quite impressive, even if the elf in front of him acted like no other king the witcher had the unfortunate luck to meet in his lifetime. quite demanding, wasn’t he? a soft sigh escaping the worn witcher, a clear sign of him truly having no wish to deal with such a thing yet practically being forced to, he decided to not beat around the bush. it wasn’t as if the term witcher would mean anything here, anyway, right?
