remus lupin goes for the subtle joke will correct your grammar, but only in his head will sit in silence for three solid minutes until he has formed his entire thought uses the deadly calm voice if you are pissing him off cannot flirt for shit but also never tries king of passive-aggression okay throws your own lines back at you five minutes later curses excessively when when tired/ill always knows the lyrics but refuses to sing in public excellent vocabulary but not pretentious enough to use half of it

ok, my headcanons about peter:

peter’s father left him and his mother when he was 5

her mom was devastated and peter always thought that it was his fault

maybe if he were a better kid his dad would not leave

maybe if he were smarter and braver

so since little peter has this low self esteem

when he goes to hogwarts he begs to the sorting hat to put him in gryffindor

bc then he could prove to everyone - and especially to his dad- that he was good and brave 

but he still not believe in himself much

and then he and remus became friends

and then james and sirius

and he could not believe that he was part of the best hogwarts group ever

he admired and loved them so much

especially james

james was everything that he always wanted to be 

and this sometimes makes him jealous

mainly because sirius always joked about him

and he remembers of his dad

his dad that don’t think that he was good enough

sometimes he doesn’t feel respected at all

don’t get it wrong, he really love james, sirius and remus 

and james, sirius and remus loved him as well

but he did not think he’s good enough, and live so close to this awesome people was toxic

sometimes this discrepancy was so evident that many people wondered how can this stupid boy be part of this group?

and voldemort was very good in see others weaknesses

and he explores that 

he explores the need that peter feel in be respected and admired

he spent so many time admiring others but no one ever admires him 

and most of all, peter was afraid

peter was not stupid, he was just lost 

i don’t believe that peter went to the dark side bc he agrees with voldemort 

honestly, i don’t think that he agrees with him at all

he changes side for just one reason: because he was tired of feeling down

he was tired of feeling that he was not good as his friends

and maybe voldemort made him believe that the reason is bc he belongs to the dark side

this would be the only way to him be something more than the stupid friend
