During these awful times I thought I’d highlight some music made by Black Artists. This is a pretty song and the first that i’ll be posting all month long.

I really like this song, found it in the wrong playlist i had, so lol.

A song about being abandoned in love. My favorite kind. JK JK. But also seriously?

Hilarious! A call out, and a throwback to the eighties. A wonderful parody of “It's Raining Men”. Loved the acknowledgment of their generalizing and the obvious use of the gay best friend trope. And at the end, it’s a real brow raiser toward the male attitude on women's rights.

Such a pretty song, and the moment when there is the shift from longing to fear is such a tingly feeling for me, i just want to hear that part again and again. It just feels desperate and quick.

I HATE romance and stuff but im ALWAYS a sucker for romantic songs. Like WHY!?

A beautiful and powerful song! Empowering and sobering.

Pretty sure its a Christian song right? I haven't bopped into checking the lyrics for it but i like the beat!

I like this song better than the original. Though i must admit the original does give me that spookier eerier vibe than this one, which i only like for that and the crowd singing near the end.

Makes me feel like I’m wandering in the wild west and the desert with my horse, the wind blows hard against my cowboy hat, my hair slapping at my face.
