To be strong for yourself and not to live for other people all the time. Also, to remind yourself that your “family” doesn’t own you and that you owe them nothing.

It is okay to not accept apologies, especially not if they’re meant to manipulate you (example: I’m so sorry I guess I should just die for being a horrible person!) you need to only accept apologies when you feel ready to! And it’s okay to be hurt by something that wasn’t “on purpose”, it still affected you and you are allowed to feel.

At some point you have to come first. It doesn’t matter what he or she thinks or feels about what you do if it doesn’t touch you. “But that will upset her” “you don’t even live with her” You have to draw the line. You have to make yourself happy.

I want this in every library, everywhere. After all, some kids won’t even google this stuff because they don’t want parents/siblings checking their browser history.

This is really awesome. And if you’re not familiar with how the Dewey Decimal system works - the numbers subject-based, which means these numbers are applicable in EVERY library. So if you see something you want to research on this list - look for those same numbers in any of your local libraries.

i wish that more people would accept that literally everyone is so different. what’s considered fun for one person might be torture for the other. just because it’s different from your preference doesn’t make theirs invalid or boring. people should respect that.
