The reason the LIs are jealous of nonsensical things like objects and animals (and more rarely random characters that never show up again) is because the LADs world is so empty and the devs are misogynistic so MC has no substantial relationships with anyone else that could reasonably inspire feelings of jealousy within the LIs, thus resulting in a lack of any tangible avenues that could lead to a poignant exploration of the emotion in the first place.
