i’m personally pretty new to tumblr, but in the short few months i’ve been active, i’ve experienced so many amazing works and kind writers who don’t deserve a fraction of the things being said about them.

the burn book page that @/tojioffline has started is immature and defeats the entire purpose of this platform. what’s supposed to be a safe space for people to write and express themselves and their ideas has turned into a petty and judgmental environment.

if you have a problem with a writer or their content, all you have to do is block them, but in no way is it okay to bring down people that have already been brave enough to put themselves out there and share their work.

the fact that some people believe it’s okay to harass writers or send death threats is beyond me and should not be normalized. it’s okay to dislike something/someone, it’s NEVER okay to threaten their safety or make public, childish gossip just because they don’t align with your own preferences.

i urge anyone who sees this to report @/tojioffline for bullying and please, please support any writers you come across.
