I'm not sure if this is a "hot take," but ; If your f/o is what it takes for you to get through hard things, complete tasks, whatever it may be, don't let anyone make you feel bad for it. If your f/o motivates you to become better, encourages you to rest or seek support when you need it, helps you accept and love yourself, then that's beautiful. I couldn't be happier that you've found something, or someone, in this case, who helps you help yourself.
