if i may speak, but i hate how often delusional is used as an insult to call out "bad self shippers" specifically going "this yume is acting like this because they're so delusional!" it becomes a point where you are not speaking about someone's bad actions, you are attacking a mental state. yes, its understandable to be frustrated with someones behavior and actions because of mental states. but deciding "this person is delusional, therefore, this is why they're a bad person." you are far from helping in the grand scheme of things. i am sorry to say, but why is your first thought on that instead of "this person is acting out and their actions are bad. i would rather focus on the actions of someone who is clearly treating others poorly."

but, it gets even worse when its targeting shippers who are simply acting out alone. yes, their behavior can be called alarming. but now, you are at a level you are kicking someone who is already down. is it even helpful? you cannot go "t.r.a.s.h dni!" while ignoring the "a" and being openly ableist towards someone who you can tell is suffering from mental health issues. just, please, start asking questions. because, did you need to tell someone directly "you're so delusional/insane/crazy?" did you *really* need to do that. because this is such a big issue i see where everyone is going "wow yumeshippers are just so crazy!"

i will be biased here myself, i think it becomes a moment where some people simply do not care. schizophrenia is still very much a disorder that people just pick at, try to purposely trigger, or dont take seriously because "they dont have to." its a disorder that is so villainized and treated like joke because people think calling someone "delusional" or triggering paranoid jokes. are simply not matters that they have to take seriously. its a disappointing part of how people view mental illness. the more stigmatized the more people are willing to go "its not that serious"
