Hetalia will be turning 20 on the 6th of July 2026!! The bidecennial anniversary of our beloved series is fast approaching, and, similar to the decennial anniversary event we held in the past, we at Hetascanlations would like to organize another unofficial hashtag event to celebrate!

How to Enter :: Tag your post with #20YearsOfHetalia or #20YrsOfHetalia and you’re in!

All tumblr posts with the hashtag #20YrsOfHetalia or #20YearsOfHetalia will be reblogged to @20yrsofhetalia. Other social media platforms are welcomed to use the hashtag as well.

WHAT TO POST

Please treat your content like it’s a message to Hetalia/Himaruya. While Himaruya doesn’t have an official tumblr account, he does have a twitter account, and if the hashtag picks up in popularity, there's always a chance Himaruya might see your message! Let’s all send him some nice blessings! :)

Fanart - Create a new art especially for the event, or something you did in the past that you’re proud of (and maybe tell us a little about your art? Fans who are no longer in the fandom are absolutely welcomed to join in too!!) Please only post fanart that you have drawn yourself.

Edits - Make edits, videos or stills, of your beloved characters! Please note that only images from Himaruya’s personal website, blog, and twitter, Kitayume, Bamboo Thicket, and @hima_kaz are free for personal usage and redistribution.

Cosplay - Post an picture or video of you dressing up as your favorite character or as your own country!

Someone asked F1nn why it was that on her larger branded social media accounts she still listed herself as a femboy in some places while in more intracommunity spaces she more readily and comfortably identified as transfem.

Now, depending on who you ask that kind of question to you'll probably get a meandering answer on the complexities of how one defines their own identity. But instead F1nn gave a very quick and simple answer.
