Cue everything Vox did to captive Alastor made sickeningly sweet. Vox parades Alastor around with a banner on the float that says “HE SAID YES!” While Al sits on a cushy chair looking WAY more embarrassed than he did tied to the rolly chair.

The interview is just Vox gushing about him and their wedding. Vox makes a joke about being the only person in Hell who will ever know if Al has a tail or not. Alastor almost quits when Vox kisses his cheek on live television. Because he hates it obviously, not because it’s giving him feelings he doesn’t want to address.

Vox takes Alastor somewhere fancy for dinner instead of a diner and calls ahead so his “fiancé” has sinner meat as an option. Alsstor’s stomach is roiling because he’s disgusted, it is NOT butterflies.

Alastor spends the night trapped(warm) in Vox’s arms having very complicated feelings about Vox petting his ears and being suffocatingly sweet about absolutely everything. At least the pajamas he was given are modest and very comfortable. Oh that tv bastard has to think of fucking everything doesn’t he?!

Alastor can’t even criticize him because it just makes Vox try HARDER to be romantic and it becomes even more embarrassing(emotionally conflicting) for Alastor.
