so okay I feel like to answer this in good faith requires a few different answers

first, about how taylor was at the session. she was incredibly kind and funny, and yeah she did feel "in touch with reality and the world" to me. she honestly seemed like a semi normal person like considering the context of it all. and just truly so so kind to everyone, and she seemed to genuinely care about everyone who was there. secret sessions were never something she had to do, and highkey it is kinda crazy she ever did them. the fact that she did them as a way to connect with fans is really wild and cool and to me shows that she genuinely does care about the people who follow her music and invest in her life. now, was she "filtering herself through a professional lens"? like, for sure, she was at work. none of us know her personally, and I am absolutely sure that she had yk somewhat of a script and knew how she wanted to carry herself. but that isn't a bad thing, and tbh idk what else anyone could expect. to me that is just a given, but doesn't detract from the experience in any way.

now for your question about her "behavior recently". I feel like that's a hard question to answer, especially given that again we do not actually know her personally and all of the rumors or media chatter is ultimately gossip or assumptions. do I think something went down with olivia? yeah for sure, and tbh my assumption there is that I would probably be disappointed by taylor in that situation. but idk what happened, only they do, and at the end of the day people make mistakes. taylor makes mistakes, she is a person, she is fallible.

for your question about her liking showgirl I mean, of course she is promoting it lmao idk what else could be expected. she put out that album so yeah she is going to promote it. I don't think me hating the album really means anything in terms of like, her "behavior" about the album. her promo is pretty well established atp so none of it is surprising to me.

I think the one area that I really pause is the wealth of it all, and ultimately the disney of it all, the $25 vinyls for a single of it all, the taycapitalism of it all. that shit is definitely off-putting to me. but honestly, it isn't surprising. she's one of the most famous people in the world, she was raised with a silver spoon in her mouth, and as much as I would love her to be the outspoken musician she cosplayed as for like 6 months during the lover era..... that isnt her. and ive long since given up on that from her, and in hindsight it was pretty naive of me and of us generally to believe she was going to be that.
