Now that I have one myself I gotta remind myself to take turns slower so I don’t become one of those moms too.

The primary fantasy Superman (2025) feeds into is that the US mainstream media and justice system would immediately turn against the evil billionaire after he’s been exposed for treasonous acts and genocide instead of gaslighting the public into thinking he isn’t actually a bad guy.

As an introvert, one of the valuable lessons I learned is that it’s okay to share half-baked or even completely raw thoughts during a discussion because it combats the deep rooted perfectionist in me by giving me an opportunity to have grace on myself when I ultimately realize I disagree with my initial premise. And by contributing to the pool of ideas it also helps other members of the conversation process their own thoughts and moves us forward.

Something I find incredibly romantic (not in the ‘I love you’ way but like, the Cyborg Franky way I guess) about the vtuber community is how when a vtuber graduates their fanbase waits intently for rumors of a new indie talent with a familiar voice or laugh to emerge and immediately finds a way to reunite with their oshi—like friends promising to find each other in another life and succeeding.
