serious question, how is this any different than proselytising? how are you better than a missionary?
i'm not bothering anyone. my religion is mine through cultural ties and tradition. we, as a region, have made it our own. furthermore, this religious practice —though imperfect, i will never deny that—has, in very recent history, been targeted by neocolonialism and US intervention. it still is, to this day. liberation theology and its successors are a major threat to empire.
but i, for one, have never sought to convert anyone into my specific vision of religion. never. and i never will.
you can live your life and your activism as a queer person thinking that cosmic solace is stupid and that religion is all about brainwashing and cults. live your truth. i don't care. but know that anti-theism is a dangerous pipeline.
also, it makes you really annoying. i would know. i used to partake.
