He suppressed a shiver, letting his wings shift and his shoulders roll as if he was still shaking off the chill of cryosleep. "But nothing feels stiff, and I'm walking around as usual. That's what matters."

the words are gruff, as is usual of the old medic, but those optics betray the truth. no matter his tone, the relief is palpable. he knows the horrors blitzwing endured. he's read the stolen files, seen the resulting trauma and stress firsthand. the last thing either of them need is to bring that trauma here.

no matter their stances on this non-existent war, ratchet's clinic is a place for all. it is a safe place for all. even blitzwing. especially blitzwing.

Given what he'd endured, one would think a clinic– ANY clinic– would be the very last place he'd ever want to be. One would be correct in that assumption… but with Ratchet's clinic, he could almost talk himself into being somewhere else. There were, fortunately, differences between where he was now and the science labs he'd been confined to all that time ago. 

He paused, sensing himself for anything that would fall into those categories… he frowned.

High Tide did flinch at the sudden personality change, his optics shifting to Blitzwing’s faceplate for a moment before he gave a small hum. He could never get used to this.
