Missed it again… also hi tumblr it’s been a while…

Something i’ve always found funny in modern vampire stories is when the vampire looks into the mirror or someone takes a picture of the vampire and they can’t see it, like that’s not how it works, it’s not that vampires can’t see their reflection. It’s that Victorian mirrors were lined with silver, a “pure” metal. Modern day mirrors have aluminum and I’m pretty sure your phone isn’t taking pictures with silver. If anything I think it would be hilarious to have a vampire who has been cooped up in his old castle for a while, unable to see his reflection because of the silver mirrors, going out for the first time in a while and seeing his reflection in the modern mirrors and being absolutely terrified!
