It’s just soooo funny because she’s the one trying to make a thing of it. Jared haters do this. They ALWAYS tell on themselves. They’re not actually educated on any of the subjects they’re just trying to stick something they hear as bad to him even when it doesn’t really work. I’ve seen them do this with everything. They tried to make him seem like an anti vaxxer when he wasn’t. They lied about the tattoo and moved the goalposts when you tried to clarify it. They lied about AKF and accused him of faking his mental health problems because they didn’t like the attention he got. They tried to claim Mantra was an MLM. Probably should’ve googled that word before you used it…

How would you like it if you got the crap beaten out of you? If you ask what you did wrong, I'll say you lied to me. It's not like I tortured you, I only beat you up. You did wrong, you deserved punishment.

They’re also not the ones bringing this up all the time unless prompted. It’s in fact the hellers that want to enjoy something for no other reason than it hurt Jared. That’s it. They don’t even care how badly the show bombed. How embarrassing this ended up being for Jensen. Or that he’s still being sued over this show. None of that. They just want to be mean spirited jerks about it until the end of time. It’s like when they brag about destiel. What is there to even brag about?

Somehow these people don’t think they’re the problem.

Oh yeah when he got in the car accident a few years ago where his cousin was driving and he was the passenger they first tried to claim he was drunk driving when it turned out he wasn’t even behind the wheel. Then when that defamation didn’t work out they laughed and mocked and celebrated him getting hurt on SM like a bunch of unhinged hyenas.

Then there’s the shoulder injury from when he wrestled with Osric. It was an accident but they crowed he “deserved it” and laughed again at his pain and the fact he had to have surgery. To this day he can’t work out with barbells anymore because of it and can only use dumbbells.

Now there’s the broken leg and their obsession with that. Trying to find ways to blame and demonize him for his own injury and pain, laughing and mocking him and saying he deserves it.

Misha also mocked and made a joke out of both Jared’s shoulder injury and his broken leg at convention panels. Great guy, right?

Let’s not forget all the laughing and mocking about his mental health and the suicide baiting. That’s been going on for 15+ years.

What coatails would these be ? The ones where he plays a dean character in every thing he does , or the ones where his prodution company dropped the ball , or his one lead role got cancelled or how about the jobs that he has got are through friends ? Thise coattails ?

If anything - it could happen (for Jensen's sake I hope not 🤞) that Jensen would need Jared if VR tanks and TB Mexico doesn't see the light of day. I don't think that Amazon would support Kripke's pet further if another show, led by him, would fail. And with him only bringing some bad Dean copy to the table, he failed to recommend himself as a versatile actor, so it could turn out that Jensen has to ride the coattails of friends (which btw he already did with TB and Tracker) to get work.

Meanwhile Jenneel spend millions on a McMansion and Misha is mortgaged to the hilt on his house while not paying his child support. But as usual it's the Pads soulless morons like Cynifer go after for being 'privileged and rich'.

In fact Gen is not telling this because she wants sympathy for them. It’s simply an anecdote for inspiration and something that helped them through that time she wanted to share. It’s part of a much larger discussion. The Padaleckis have often been the most tactful. It’s about relating to other people and giving out helpful information. They’re not looking for people to feel sorry for them.

Misha has lied about set stories and blamed his divorce on his ex wife in order to get sympathy from fans. The set stories didn’t really happen that way and his wife divorced him because he wouldn’t put up boundaries around his fans. He spent millions on that mansion then had the nerve to request for smaller child support payments. This man literally chose fame over his own family. He was only granted visitation. THere’s a reason a judge ruled on that. Let that sink it in.

The Ackles bought a pretentious and overly large mansion in a very wealthy community. They spent covid times going into interviews where Danneel’s dumb ass thought it was a brilliant idea to compare herself to ordinary people working in health care. She was actually trying to make people feel sorry for HER during covid when she has all this money and doesn’t have to do a thing about it. She talked over the guests all the time. To my knowledge they don’t really do much else in their community or anything like the Padaleckis do.

Not every Jared fan has always been blinded by Jensen's big brother act.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't really see that many changes in J2's relationship. I think what's really affected Jared is that for the first time in his life, he's had a long period without demanding work and with uncertainty. For an actor who's worked tirelessly his whole life, this comes as a hard blow, but it's something that ultimately has to be overcome because the industry is getting tougher all the time. I really hope a new project he's passionate about comes along and things get better.

I totally agree about him praising Jensen and others and not getting anything in return.

If i follow their relationship from start, i often see it as codependent and unhealthy. There is something about Jensen, hearing him talk about Jared and seeing how much he takes care of him, feels so cute and protective. I romanticise it too. I won't pretend otherwise. But sometimes i take off my j2 colored glasses and look and i see there was a power imbalance there. He usually infantalizes Jared. The way he talks about him, he really portrays a childish image. Someone who needs to be taken care of and he does take care of, but he also announces it. Describe it bit by bit and comments about how he has to manage Jared in ways otherwise like a child without inhibitions he will destroy everything. This is just con/interview talks. But does he behave the same in real life. Extra caring and less thoughtful of personal space. Pushy and somehow makes Jared feel unsure of himself. His kind of care isn't really protective. It gives more of a possessive. And i am not telling it in romantic sense, in negative sense, like he feels entitled. Now atleast on codependent department, they are better.

Now am i wrong? May be i can be. May be all i have seen and thought is wrong. Because it's all speculation at the end. But i get these vibes.

Yep exactly. The fandom romanticizes it and it drives me crazy. This despite the fact that even I was totally into it as well when I first got into the fandom and watched panels. It was reminiscent of the Dean/Sam dynamic so it was like a real life extension of that and the fiction/reality lines got blurred. After observing more of this stuff, though, it makes me wildly uneasy.

Unfortunately I feel like we're seeing them slip back into that same dynamic lately and it's not a good thing, imo. Like just recently there was a story someone told about a recent M&G with J2 where Jensen told Jared to sit on the floor and patted his head and said "sit child". I'm sure they were doing it as a bit/joke and laughing it off themselves but is that not totally weird and infantilizing for no real reason?? Then when I saw that story posted on Twitter all the J2 fans were like 😍😍 meanwhile I'm wincing and thinking "NOOOO man that is not a cute story!"

Is it a power trip? I can imagine that initially starting the show, that Jared was looking for a mentor like he found in Milo on the GG set but he gets JA. There’s talk about fights in the first season and of course their little prank wars that got out of hand (yet there’s no hate on JA I’ve seen about him going too far but I digress). Like is it competitive? Does JA like having someone look up to him, ‘depend’ on him?

Hard agree to everthing this anon said. Reading all this I was thinking the difference with which the cast members of walker or GG treats Jared and how Spn casts treat him. They all respect each other. Nobody is out here playing favorites and they all enjoy together. But then we see spn extras except for few of them and they all are nothing but snide comments and laughs at his expense.

Jared knows it too, i guess. No wonder he hangs out with the whole cast of walker but when it comes to spn, he hangs out with very few of them. Only Jensen is the conundrum. He joins those cast members when they make fun of Jared but still remains one of the closest to Jared. There must be something behind the scenes, that Jared still love Jensen. I can't think of no other reason.

Yep. In regards to the last paragraph, one thing I've noticed with Jared is that it seems to me the time we saw him at his mentally and emotionally healthiest was when he was actually away from Jensen. After SPN ended at PG happened and Jared was doing Walker there was a bit of an emotional distance between them even though on paper they were all good and made up. Not just emotional distance but physical distance as they saw each other less. During that time, Jared was clearly enforcing boundaries, had more self confidence, was more centered and calm. It was obvious in the way he would speak and his body language when I watched not just panels but also interviews from that period of time.

Then as we saw Jared and Jensen apparently getting more and more affectionate and warm with each other in the past year or so (not that they were unfriendly or cold during panels prior to this year but the affection really ramped up imho) it seems to me we're seeing that Jared's emotional health is taking a bit of a hit. Sure there are other circumstances of course. Walker getting cancelled saddened him and then the broken leg ordeal really took it's toll as well I'm sure. But still, some of Jared's demeanor lately as the "bro bond" has ramped up between them is reminiscent to me of how he was towards the end of SPN. The self-deprecation, the emotional break down at JIB, the constant praising of Jensen and others (even Misha) while they don't do the same in return, etc. It makes me feel like he's struggling with self doubt and self worth again.
