The show that created and destroyed its best boyfriend ever, somehow successfully managed to redeem him in under two minutes! Kudos to that and about time this was done!

Dean and Rory went through a lot of ups and downs in their relationship but this clip that lasts just a little over two minutes gave a perfect closure to them.

It starts with Rory bumping into Dean at Doose's Market. She is surprised to see him at Star's Hollow and he tells her he is visiting his parents and that his wife Jenny (is it just me does that sound a lot like Jared's Gen?) asked him to get out of the house to avoid passing flu and head lice that his son Grady brought home (again, they literally used Jared's life event. As they discuss Clara's boyfriend, the conversation takes a turn to 'first love' and Rory is lost for words. Dean, the amazing man that he has been, first asks her how she is doing and she explains she is writing a book about her life and expresses her desire to include him in it.

Dean is a bit hesitant at first, not sure how much she would share. When he asks her, what she is going to put in the book, she is immediately nostalgic about how he was the best boyfriend ever. Regrets that she didn't meet him later in life when she was more mature to value what he had to offer. That he made her feel safe.

Here's where you can see the difference in how both of them react to the past. Rory clearly regrets letting Dean slip away from her. Part of her is still living in the past hoping Dean could share her future. She tells him how perfectly she remembers his geekiness. Dean, on the other hand, seems more calm and content. He is no longer swimming in the past. He has moved on and isn't going to run back to Rory at the first signs of her acceptance.

He wishes her goodluck for the book and takes a leave.

Rory, still in nostalgia, picks up the cornstarch off the shelf, calling him one more time to wave the box, hoping he'd remember the significance of it.

Dean merely smiles reminding her to pay for it this time.

I’m a big Dean defender, and not just because he’s played by Jared.

The fact people call him abusive* when Rory was the one who manipulated and used him. Dean did all her dumb dances & supported her endlessly and she cheated on him with Jess. Soon as she saw him with Lindsay, she wanted him again.

Once she’d slept with him and broken up his marriage, she soon got bored and moved on. As an aside, his parents were morons for letting him marry so young. Let the kids live together as a couple, sure, but marriage was dumb as f**k, especially when it was blatant he wasn’t over Rory.

When Rory comes running downstairs at a party after a fight with Jess - because she didn’t want sex yet - Dean still tries to comfort her. And then fights Jess for upsetting her. All the ‘Jess is the best’ people ignore the fact she has to tell Jess ‘wait’ several times, and physically get from under him for Jess to stop trying to have sex with her. And Jess’ response to her saying she didn’t want their first time to be in a bedroom at a house party is to say she came looking for him.

First time Dean & Rory break up, Luke, an adult, physically attacks Dean, a child. The whole town spoils her, and she’s a huge brat because of it.

If Dean hadn’t gotten away from Stars Hollow, she would have continued to mess with him.

It’s sweet revenge when she sees him in the mini series and he’s flourishing whilst she’s the screw up who’s back home.

*People who flippantly claim Dean was abusive disgust me. He evidentially was not abusive to Rory, and whilst he wasn’t a good husband to Lindsay, he wasn’t a domestic abuser there either. He was a cheat & liar, which is shitty but nowhere near the same. As someone who was stuck in an abusive relationship from 17-22, I wish I’d had Dean instead.

Aside from the fact that it’s immediately obvious the relationship is very superficial—with Elta treating Mishit like a pet and using destiew to garner attention from a fandom that otherwise wouldn't interact with her at all—there are aspects of that dynamic that really make you think.

For starters, both individuals rely heavily on Jensen to gain and maintain their standing within their social and professional circles. Yet, both have acted in ways that are quite disparaging toward Jensen and his work: Elta, with her constant need to feel superior and belittle everything Jensen does; and Mishit, by pandering to a ship (one he knows perfectly well was never anything more than a fandom invention, and which is the very reason Jensen is constantly attacked by rabid shippers) behind Jensen's back.

Both have, on various occasions, received public treatment from Jensen that could be perceived as dismissive. Examples include the TW promotion and the many times Jensen has shut down Mishit and that ship at conventions. Furthermore, he has ignored both of them on social media, even when it was painfully obvious they were fishing for a response.

Both have repeatedly tried to make it appear as though Jensen pays them a lot of attention or treats them in a specific way, but things rarely go their way; like that boat promotion they tried to pass off as a spontaneous occurrence, or Elta using Jensen’s accounts to praise herself.

I could go on, there’s even something involving Jared that… but I think it’s best not to get into that. My point is that there are many circumstances that cause people to band together and behave the way they do, and resentment is one of them.

There is no Misheel friendship. Her claim that Asstiel is her fav character and she knows all his lines is just utter bullshit. The TW pr proved that this woman has zero clue about SPN. She just jumped on the Destiel bandwagon to pander to hellers.

Mishit of course plays along, even makes up bullshit bc Elta as cheerleader for Destiew/Cockless is a moneymaker in his eyes.

She also posted a weird birthday post for him one year but fans noted she just googled the photo. It was not a personal picture she had of him. When fans pointed this out she claimed “she doesn’t post pictures without someone’s permission.” Except she does and she did. With Jared on HIS birthday. So yes she’s lying and was very blatantly caught on lying.

Danneel is always lying and always trying to portray herself as someone she’s not. It’s never worked for her.

Do these people know the difference between the lead and the extras? Jared padalecki was the lead. He can do what he want and will not have to answer to anything to an extra. He only need to answer to his boss ie creator of the show and other lead Jensen. Same vice versa for jensen. They both were leads. They both can do what they like seeing they both put forth their hardwork.

Its even more surprising when these people had no issue with Jensen trying to take over the show because it was quote unquote Jensen's show. So why are they harping over what Jared is doing.

I gave up on their podcast very early on because they couldn't fucking sound balance their sponsored ads and I was fed up of getting deafened. Such an unprofessional thing to do when you're both recording artists who obviously know how a studio works.

Anything Jared shares with us is for fans. His con appearances, panels, autos, photo ops, meet and greets is all for fans. Just because you're too broke to afford what he's offering doesn't mean it's not for the fans, it just means you're an average Mishap fan.

Jared doing a rewatch podcast thing would probably be the first thing on a site like Patreon that I'd happily subscribe to.

And yes they do make money off of this. How fucking stupid do you have to be to think they just do this for shits and giggles? There are ads, subscription, a patreon. Personally I think it’s even a joke they’re at conventions. I don’t even remember them on the show and when I did, I thought they sucked. They are such a tiny forgettable fraction of it. If they’re allowed to do that, why is the lead not? That’s ridiculous.

As a person I don’t like Perez Hilton but holy fucking shit this really does show their true colours. It’s enough of an indication to show they genuinely have zero regard for people who might be suffering a mental health crisis. They clearly don’t believe people can suffer mental health crises.

Perez was likely septic and that can absolutely wreck your mental health. Even an ignored UTI can cause this to you, which is why an infection is nothing to sneeze at.

Perez was fortunate his children weren’t home to see this happen.

See, this is the marked difference between us all. I’d still care even if it was someone I disliked.

I just notice a LOT of misplaced anger towards people they don’t even know. They spend an exorbitant amount of time trash talking strangers and even gleefully enjoying their misfortune. There doesn’t seem to be a line or anything too out of bounds even bringing someone’s children into it is all fine. Yet they also want to act as though their targets are terrible people yet you don’t see them acting this way. Their moral superiority complex while they appear to take such pleasure in being hateful is a real trip.
