Real talk tho yall why the hell are we using gender assigned at birth labels to identify “what kind” of nonbinary someone is. First of all AGAB was created by the intersex community to uplift their voices about medical discrimination. And for some reason, people saw it and went “oh goody!! A new box to shove nonbinaries into!!!!”

I remember when the Mermaids charity in the UK came under intense scrutiny in the mass media because a parent of a trans child complained over their child being given a binder, and amongst all of the arguing and debating not a single person ever once thought about that poor trans kid who is obviously living in an extremely unaccepting environment, being made to feel like an absolute freak for getting a binder and then feeling like the only trans charity in the UK was about to be shut down just because their own mother couldn’t bare to listen to them for even a second. My heart fucking aches for that kid, and I don’t have a shred of empathy for how the parents’ feel. I don’t fucking care if you’re sad about “losing” your child. You just paraded your kid in front of an entire country filled with pirhana-like TERFs waiting to pounce on them like they’re a fucking symbol of the country’s paranoia.
