(from an insomniac nursing student' experience)
(art credits to @guanzed🖤)
-Is punctual, clocks in within minutes early just to prepare for the shift and clocks out on time whenever possible .
-has a clear and soft handwriting, easy to read on charts and nurse's notes.
-Speaking of nurse's notes, his other coworkers would often ask for him to read the ineligible ones. Nurse!Steb could easily point out the letters and identify the rest.
-is very SERIOUS about sterility, at one point got into an argument with a doctor scrubbing in, pointing out that he would either report or clear the room once again. (he's got the guts)
-Morning shifts works the best for him. Start the day with the sunrise & ends the shift at sunset, ain't that just beautiful? Otherwise, night & graveyard shifts are kinda meh to him. Nurse!Steb couldn't seem to pretend to be lively at night, thinking he'd rather be in bed at such hour. (Lowkey questioning his career decision atp)
-A type A/B nurse. He's serious & passionate about his career and helping, but he actually works low-key. No flashy accessories, no fancy RN tags or anything. Just the practical ones, that'll do for him.
-in terms of practicality, Nurse!Steb would spend on quality products. Quality over quantity is his motto + that fancy dark blue stethoscope he's always using? that made him almost broke during college days 🥲
- Physical therapy is his favorite area. Nurse!Steb understands the feeling of lacking something, so he's eager to aid patients back into health. He would instruct them with precision & patience, and support them with no shame, even if the patient's morals are low he will sympathize with them.
-Nurse!Steb 's usual areas are the ER, Operating/Delivery, and the ICU. Unique cases, more focused on patient care, and fast-paced. Perfect for his reflexes and appetite for helping (aww)
-the gentleman of the floor. Nurse!Steb is very considerate of his lady co-workers & always looks out for them. For the new nurses he guides them & teaches the protocols, Carries heavy things for them whether pushing a bed or replacing water gallons.
-VERY strict when it comes to disrespect. One time a rude male patient keeps asking a specific female nurse for a catheter change and "massage". The next thing he sees is Nurse!Steb walking in w/ gloves and body lotion ready, fighting the urge not to show a shit-eating grin.
- Is very good-looking in pink scrubs, puts his physique in display that makes heads turn.
(if this blows up, I'll make a pt2😚✌🏻)
