Jamie: A bit of a pause? Is that based on Damon’s quotes in the press about we might not do something for 10 years?

GU: Yes, and also during the concerts Damon has sort of made a mention that it maybe will be some time before we see them live again.

Jamie: No, I mean we have been doing two albums back to back, I started to work on Humanz at the end of 2014, four yeas of nothing but Gorillaz, and we love to do Gorillaz, because this is where we get to do whatever we want. It’s our baby, and we have this amazing fan base, we love to do Gorillaz. But I think we are both a bit tired, Damon more than me, because he’s been on the road for two years, you know, away from your family, it’s exhausting. And I’ve drawn a lot of shit. So I think there will be a break, but it’s not gonna be 10 years, in 10 years I am gonna be fucking 60 years old. We are gonna have a break, Damon’s got projects, I’ve got Gorillaz related projects. But I can’t really talk about it yet, it’s something that could take a couple of years to put together. So you might not see something for a couple of years, but there’s something that I am working on that Damon will become a part of later.
