what kind of questions do they make you answer before you start T?
well, they asked me:
• whether I smoke (you shouldn't be smoking)
• if I wanted to freeze my eggs
• about underlying illnesses
• whether I understood all of the side effects, and permanent VS non permanent effects (we went through all of these)
they might ask:
• about your mental health situation, e.g. not giving you hrt until you're mentally stable because it's risky.
• similarly about your domestic situation, whether you're out to your parents, family etc.
• your social situation. some clinics require you to be socially transitioned (this means presenting as your chosen gender for a certain timeframe, usually 2 or 3 years.)
• about your dysphoria, what makes you dysphoric, how you feel about yourself and your gender.
• they could also ask if you've legally changed your name yet.
They'll also ask u at sum point to change ur gender marker w ur doctors! This will also change ur NHS number :)

If your NHS number is changed, some gender clinics will remove you from the list/ make you start again. Be wary of this and inform your gender clinic as soon as your NHS number changes (for those in the UK.)
They may ask if your name has been changed by deed poll too.

Giving this a share again! I've saved up so much myself and with a bit more fundraising I could afford to go with a surgeon in the UK rather than travelling to an extremely homophobic area for surgery.

Just wanted to do an update on this.
I've made the decision not to go to Poland for surgery if I can avoid it. This is based on covid laws as well as going to a homophobic area where I'd feel particularly unsafe.
Instead, I'm working to save up a little extra to be able to get surgery in the UK. This is slightly more expensive, but a lot safer and more comfortable for me to do.
If anyone can afford to donate towards this, it'd help me a lot. I'm going to be working extra shifts to try afford this but there's only so much extra work I can do. Thank you for your help. 💖

The reason you cant see trans mens dicks is for the same reason you can't see the whole of London from when standing outside Parliament, it's actually so massive that you have to zoom outta earth, past the moon and to the edge of the andromada galaxy and from there using the hubble telescope you can just about see the tip. To those dudes who know its a long time before they get on T, i haven't been lucky to start T yet due to shitty home life however just being able to socially transition has had a huge effect on my happiness so here's me at the beginning of my transition when I was 15 and now, I've just turned 20. It gets better

Hey, I think that my brother might be transgender and I want advice on how to approach him to help him out and let him know that it’s alright.
Maybe show them a media piece of some queer related stuff, and openly express your views on acceptance. Coming out is very hard, and has to be done in your own time. Letting your loved ones know that you'll love them through and through, they'll come to you when you're ready

The other day my cis friend asked me if she could name her not even a sperm yet daughter after my dead name. Explaining it so her un born daughter could be the girl that I never was like some weird ass full circle shit. Like honey I changed my name for a reason. Fuck offff
