Am I the only person that think parental controls are fucked up? Like okay, instead of having actual conversation with your child, where you explain and discuss your concerns about screen usage, health, privacy, safety, and also stuff like sex and consent (because things like being groomed (online)), so they know what your opinions are, then either they agree, you compromise, or you change your mind, the solution is just... parental controls. You can't actually just... genuinely convince them you're right? That your stance is valid? Won't even try? Like that's kind of pathetic and says a lot. Where's your self confidence bro. Even people who claim to love their children, like hah, what good is love if you can't even treat them with basic dignity?

you dont even have to cut to be valid . if your goal is to hurt yourself , it counts as self harm . idc if ur just purposefully stubbing ur toe . if the goal is to harm yourself , its self harm and it is valid .

self harm is not a competition . you dont have to hurt the worst , you dont have to have permanent scars , you dont have to bleed or bruise or cry for it to be self harm . self harm isnt a contest , treating it like one gets people killed .
