I don't think Jocasta Nu gets enough credit for this moment where she purges the entire Jedi Archive data to keep the Empire from being able to access that trove of knowledge for their purposes:

It's just the valor of surviving Order 66, somehow, impossibly getting away, and yet still coming back into her gutted home-turned-tomb to do this excruciating, ultimate act of sacrifice. Destroying this last physical manifestation of her people's culture, identity, and her own life's work. It's such a Jedi moment: letting something deeply important go, not out of apathy or coldness, but to protect others.

Jocasta as a character is so defined by her exchange in AotC, telling Obi-Wan that if something isn't in the Jedi Archives, it doesn't exist. So many fans have interpreted that as to stand for the arrogance of the Jedi, not the pride in her life's work collecting and maintaining a resource as incredible and massive as the Jedi Archives. I think this act is even more powerful answer to those charges; far from Jocasta Nu being a posterchild for the Jedi doggedly clinging to an institution for the sake of itself, she's willing to throw all of that away in an instant if it means one less weapon for the Empire.

I spent so long in Zion and Big MT and Sierra Madre that the Pitt is kind of refreshing.

Ginger Island was both overwhelming and underwhelming when I first arrived.

I was sooo proud of my FO3/FNV faces, too.

#I haven't sat down and really played Oblivion #I started three characters from the get-go to play with the character creator #And see the main story vs mages guild with other guild playthroughs to follow #But the performance on my deck leaves something to be desires tbh #But I have the LED #Don't think it's a matter of space but maybe #Anyway I'll probably buy the remakes #But for now I've finally come around on the graphics in the original #And I love that both are available #If I could make my character look okay I'd give the og oblivion a chance #But I needed the remake to come around in the first place #Otherwise no never potato faces are not for me

You could almost take Uylsses' upset at the White Legs imitating him in a meaningless manner and apply it to how the tribes of Zion are written.

Making the tribes of Zion white would have made more sense.

#I honestly think honest hearts is not well written #Randall Clark is but that's it #I don't even have a problem with there being religion #I think religion post apocalypse could be really interesting #But the trials kill it for me #I think Dead Money is the best written DLC #Some of OWB relies on you being able to talk to Uylsses about his conversation with them #It's the only bit of seriousness in the DLC #Silly isn't bad per se #But it was all silly

I thought downloading 3 and playing it alongside NV was a mistake, but then I remembered that's how a lot of people play.

#Feels like it would be too easy to exploit both #Waiting a decade and paying $5 for the game+DLC is fine #But if I had payed $10 I might be a little annoyed #Or maybe just underwhelmed
