it's okay to be afraid

GEODE! Your lovely ask made me look it up and realize that next month, I’ll have been posting this story for a whole year. That’s so incredible to me?! I’m actually a little sad because I can definitely see the end of the fic looming up and I know I’m going to miss writing it so much. I know I’ll write something else afterward, but every long fic has a different, unique feeling to it while I’m working on it, and I always miss that energy afterward. It’s like I can step back and look at the finished work, but I can’t access the fun of being in process with it anymore, and that always feels bittersweet. 

BUT THANK YOU SO MUCH! I’m definitely layering in some things that will hopefully be “oh fuck” moments on the re-read. >:D This fic definitely has some uh, big reveals.

If I could art, I would be drawing pictures of the characters and the stories I love. But art is not my gift. So words will have to do.

If I had better media access, my stories would be variations on canon. But the stories of fellow fans have been the chiefest, and most joyful of my inspirations.
