I’m so sorry to have worried you all! asdsfghjkl thank you so much for expressing your concern! This Mod has been away due to inconveniences of the real world as well as a three-week vacation with literally no internet… (aka why I didn’t even know we were receiving asks…) But, I’m back! 

About the long break… yes, that’s partly my fault, but I’m sure Mod Lugia has said something about it! 

I’m going to try hard to do the match-ups this year! I have about… 9 (not including the ones in the inbox…) to do. I’m so terribly sorry, I feel horrible about it asdfklgjdfkdlg

Gladion:

He isn’t even the least fazed by the fact that he has feelings for a guy. He’s more surprised to realise that he has, in fact, developed feelings at all. This fact alone baffles muffin edgelord.

It doesn’t matter how in denial love he might be, he will never make his feelings be known to his crush, even if it costs him his life, unless he is 111% sure he reciprocates his feelings.

Regardless of whether his s/o is a male or a female, he will still be pretty reluctant about making his relationship public. Even better if his lover would rather keep it between the two of them.

It’s not that he cares about what other people may think - in fact, he will ignore or death-glare anyone who dares to look down upon his decision; he just would rather have a peaceful relationship which doesn’t involve unwanted opinions.

Hopping onto the fact that everyone wants him to have a wholesome brotherly bond with Lillie, let’s mention that she is the only one whose opinion actually matters to him; he knows she will be suportive af anyway.

Getting some advice from her is also prone to happen, but it doesn’t mean he will always follow what she says because it’s mostly super corny and simply not his style. Needless to say, Lilllie ships them both a lot and is secretly planning a wedding.

Mod Lugia speaking! We are sorry for the long absence on this blog... again. Both Mod Ho-Oh and I are quite busy lately, and are glad you understand and respect our rules and space.

But rejoice, for I bring good news (finally)! You see, around this time of the year I get this super hardcore Pokémood, which is the reason why I have started a game on X and SoulSilver plus thinking about starting another one on Diamond and Moon again.

This means I am completely in the mood for some writing! Cheers! Mainly if it’s characters from Pokémon X and Moon, whose personalities are fresher in my mind right now.

So yep, please don’t hesitate to send those headcanon requests soon so I can write them for you!

Of course! My deepest apologies for the endless wait, since the last time I played Diamond was like five years ago and I’ve had a really hard time grasping Saturn’s character - even now I have my doubts; therefore, I hope you can forgive because he might be a bit OoC here… Nonetheless, enjoy please!

Saturn:

Don’t tell anyone, but he is actually such a cuddle bug! He loves loves loves spending time with his s/o wrapped up in his arms and he won’t let go for even a second. His s/o didn’t fully find out about this side of his until Team Galactic was disbanded and his spare time increased in cuantity. 

He does his hair (and it takes him more than half an hour every morning) and has offered doing hia s/o’s too in a fashion similar to his own.

Saturn loves waking up to find his lover deeply asleep. Their bedhead, the peaceful expression, and even that (maybe not so) tiny trail of drool oozing from their mouth makes his heart swell with love.

He teases them endlessly after that, but would literally give anything to wake up to such an adorable sight every morning; it gives him the energy he needs to overcome whatever things may be thrown at him.

Feels kinda guilty about everything he has done as a Team Galactic Commander, and it might haunt him in those nights when he feels a bit down. He becomes clinglier and demands some reassurement a little too boldly, but he apologizes the next morning, and feels so refreshed too.

He has a wide knowledge on the sky: anything you want to know about planets, stars and constellations and much more he can explain with a smug hue in his tone. Adores a lover who appreciates the marvels of the night sky, and will often suggest stargazing dates which always end up with them falling asleep under the starry sky.

This is a super important update. (Well, at least to this Mod lol) 

If you’re not going to read all of this, please at least scroll to the bottom to see the tldr and the most important update.

Since I can’t be on tumblr for most of the day, this means I can’t do a lot of the requests as fast as you guys want them :( same with Mod Lugia, but I thank you all for being so patient. You guys are the best. Seriously.

But let’s just lay down a few rules, maybe even a simple template to test things out for now…

1. Limit of three match-ups a week. 

2. Ideal template for match-up: 

Preferred gender (of self) [required]

Hair colour [optional; but helpful?]

Eye colour [optional; but helpful?] 

Height [optional] 

Personality - how are you with other people? With friends? With family? What are your hobbies? What do you like? Dislike? What makes you happy? What are you good at? What are your interests? [required; but not all it can't fit, or add some interesting stuff about yourself that you like!]

Preferred match-up gender [REQUIRED], i.e. "Male/female/both match-up". 

Whether or not you are okay with a "young" match-up, i.e age wise. E.g. Hau, Gladion, Calem, Shauna, May, Dawn etc. [This is pretty important tbh. I need to know if you guys are okay with the match-ups I’m going to make. I want everyone to be comfortable. So please. REQUIRED]

3. If anyone is thinking of a match-up, I highly recommend you read this post too

4. I also do potential Pokemon match-ups (completely and utterly platonic), but I think I’m going to merge those match-ups with the others. So, still a total limit of three per week. 

5. I’m going to be spamming the message “Match-ups open/closed” a lot. 

TLDR; Mod Ho-Oh is limiting match-ups to three a week; an ideal template has been made to be followed (and slightly deviated).

A little reasoning:

This boy is like so perf for you. Jokes are being made all year round, and to be honest, you’d like someone you can spend your time with making you happy without so much effort (I don’t mean he doesn’t try, but it doesn’t take too much effort for a great joker like him! Joking comes easy to him.) 

Hau doesn’t mind what kind of Pokemon others prefer; just another part of him that accepts that everyone has different likes and dislikes. He’d definitely be interested in your choice of Pokemon and will ask you ‘why’, but afterwards, it always ends with a big smile and an ‘oh! I see now!’. 

Hau is an open minded guy, but it takes him a while to understand some things he doesn’t always understand. There will be a lot of questions asked, even if they come off as a bit insensitive; but they really have no intention of being offensive! :O 

Hau’s the kind of guy who makes mindless comments on appearances that come out as compliments. He just blurts out what he thinks (which is a good thing and a bad thing sometimes…). But, it’s nice to know exactly how he feels and thinks about things, like different hair colours! He’d ask Gladion (much to the poor blond’s chagrin) about how to look after dyed hair.

A little reasoning:

English is also not her first language! Although she can speak it vaguely, English would not be her ‘go-to’ language. 

But this won’t stop her from being open towards you if you can’t speak French/her original language wiki being a dick and vagueing about her origins. Communication is key, and great practice when it comes to new languages! She’d gladly learn yours for both that language-barrier-break and also for that praise ;DD 

She’s a flamboyant female, so your constantly rainbow-dyed hair is not a problem for her!

A little reasoning: 

It takes an artist to know an artist. That being said, an artist can be overwhelming to be with, especially if they are very passionate about their work. Siebold expresses his creativity and art through food; cooking to be precise. He burns with a passion that he must commit to and therefore, forcing others to answer his questions on food and art. Siebold is passionate and forceful with zero chill, but he is a good hearted guy. Open-minded, considerate and patient when it comes to art. Patience is key; and so is practice. He’ll give you little feedback and critique your works in order to help you improve. 

Double whammy. You play music. Music is art. Siebold is in awe. 

Super un-chill guy, who totally needs someone like you (with damn good humour and social skills) to take him down a couple of notches of intense. 

Cue all the food puns, which surprisingly Siebold is making! For an un-chill guy, he makes great puns! Punny humour and wide sense of humour is greeeattt~

You two have different opinions on favourite Pokemon, and it’s never up for debate. To each their own, and Siebold understands very well. He’s not one to judge someone for their favourite Pokemon, nor is he willing to berate them for it! Especially his girlfriend! There would be discussions over it, but never a fight over what’s better. 

Siebold loves personality and confidence. And it shows with how you present yourself. The wilder, the better in this case. It’s a flair of creativity and, just like Siebold…. PASSION.

Winona seems very appreciative of a great sense of humour especially considering her past relationship with Wallace, so I feel you two would get along like two peas in a pod. Her subtle seriousness and slight air-headed attitude to your friendly and humorous personality. 

As someone who holds a great interest in birds and Flying-type Pokemon, Winona is fascinated by your deep interest in astronomy! Although she isn’t too well versed in it, birds do, can and are able to navigate via the stars! 

She’s the kind of person who dotes on extravagant ways. Whether it be flaming hair colours, fashion sense, or humour type. The fact that you can express yourself through confidence in your own body shows her that you aren’t afraid what people think. Brave, independent, and strong. She likes that a lot. It reminds her of herself. 

Although Winona is a little bit ‘chill’, she disapproves greatly of peer pressure and will try her hardest to make you see the fault in your friends attempting to pass their judgement onto you. If anything, Winona gets angry. This is not the way to treat friends, nor is it something to force onto anyone. Winona doesn’t want any harm to come to you or anyone that she holds a deep connection to; that’s why she’s very persistent and very firm in this situation. 

Superheroes are stereotyped into having the ability to fly. The entire thing has Winona captivated at the word! Though it wasn’t what she initially expected, she loves it nonetheless! It would rub off onto her; and with your enthusiasm for the shows, she would try her best to understand it (she does). It would be something of a favourite pastime with you! 

That, or just relaxing in each other’s presence is good enough for her. Just being around you makes her happy! You don’t have to be doing anything with each other to have an excuse to be with each other. You drawing, and her feeling the breeze through her hair.

A little reasoning:

Flint comes off as an easy-going person, yet deeply caring to those close to him. He’s easy to talk to and has no problem starting the conversation, especially if it’s someone he fancies; however, he would definitely show more interest to you when you crack a pun. 

He loves puns. He makes really bad ones too. I can see him throwing a bunch of random horrible puns out to lighten the tension and him laughing at his own jokes. Warning: he’s a terrible flirt. 

Your friendly attitude is another thing that really matches with Flint’s. He’s a chatterbox and there would be no dull moments with this fiery guy lmao

Flint admires the way you can sit there silently and read (or with music in the background). He’s a huuuuuge reader and secretly wears reading glasses; the only thing that makes him a little less confident. With your bright and wonderful personality, as well as the common ground for wearing glasses, Flint would be more open to you. 

Sitting together reading books would be a great pastime for you two and a way to chill the fire-man. 

Energy is important. Especially when two people have the same or differing amounts of it. Flint is a relatively energetic man and you said you were ‘a confident ball of energy’. I feel that this is the major point that Flint loves you for and to which I found was suitable to match you.

But we have decided to make some changes because we realized our previous organization wasn’t working as we wanted to.

First, we have to say that the requests in the ask box are going to be deleted. We are very sorry about this because we know that you guys took some time to send those in. We just need a fresh start to get this blog kicking again. But the ones saved into our drafts that have already been started and/or about 90% done will still be posted!

Rules will be mostly the same as before, but take into account that both mods will specialize in a different kind of request each:

Mod Lugia will do NSFW headcanons.

If you are sending in a match-up, please send in more information about yourself. Mod Ho-Oh would like to base the match-up on chemical potential, rather than just aesthetics (but yes, send in a brief description of what you look like too!) Just a little more detail on yourself; doesn't have to be too long! Just enough for Mod Ho-Oh to get a good understanding.

Please consider that we have both played different games, and as so we don’t know all the characters, so if you’re going to ask for match-ups or NSFW requests, make sure the mod who is going to write them knows about this character.

Mod Lugia and I are having a little discussion over a few things regarding this blog; so far there isn’t too much of a ‘big change’, but we will definitely update you on the changes!
